and hospitalized. shots were fired outside the club baltimore on pulaski highway just before 2:00 a.m. this morning. sheldon dutes is live in rosehill with the latest. >> the officer that was injured is expected to be ok. he got hurt while trying to secure the scene, but he has since been treated and released from hospital. the 911 call came in at club baltimore on pulaski highway. although they do not know the motive, but the shooting stemmed from an argument at closing time. the gunman opened up fire in the parking lot killing one person. the police have identified the victim as george william bryant. officers say when they got here it was pretty chaotic. >> when they responded, they found a large group of people surrounding the victim. as the officers tried to secure the crime scene and move people back some medical personnel could arrive, some people failed

to follow those orders. one officer was assaulted and was transferred to the hospital where he was treated and released. we do have one person in custody for that assault. >> the search continues for the gunman still on the run tonight. if you have an intermission, call metro crime stoppers. live in rosedale, sheldon dutes, wbal-tv 11 news. >> another man is dead after a shooting. the unidentified victim shot in the head around 11:15 p.m. on stonewood road. investigators believe the man was fighting off two other men when someone produced a gun and opened fire. the victim was taken to johns hopkins where he died. tonight, the suspect remains at large. police are investigating a shooting in east baltimore where a man was walking when someone shot him in the head. the victim was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition. the suspect fled on foot and no

word on a possible motive. still no word on the circumstances surrounding a body found floating in the inner harbor. sky team 11 was live there after 6:00 p.m. last night where they found a man unconscious near the boat ramp. officials are still trying to confirm his identity. maryland state police are trying to figure out what led to a deadly motor scooter accident in carroll county. 46-year-old mark kinslow was traveling just after midnight when his scooter let the road and crashed into an electric fence. according to police, he suffered severe head and neck injuries and died at the scene. and other vehicles involved in this crash. one person dead and another injured after a two-alarm house fire in anne arundel county. the fire broke out just after 1:30 p.m. on a short ride in edgewater. one died on the scene and a woman in her late 60's was rushed to the bayview burn

unit. because of the fire remains under investigation. one buyer in the southeast baltimore has one family looking for a new place to live. the two-alarm fire started on carbore way of around 7:30 a.m. and investigators say the fire spread to two adjoining homes. >> when i got up and heard the smoke detectors, and i went to the stairs to see the smoke coming up the steps. i went to get back the kids -- i went back to get the kids. >> everyone made it out safely, but it one barman was treated for smoke inhalation. no word yet on what caused the fire. >> two things we're watching this weekend and for the rest of the weekend are the rain chant

the high temperature was around 90-95. still in the 90's where you see the red along the eastern shore and west of us like gaithersburg, frederick. everyone else is in the mid to upper 80's. in the 70's in the mountains to the west. but this evening, a cold front is approaching. the high pressure that give this a great few days here with comfortable conditions is sliding out of the picture. the cold front is approaching and the chances for rain increase. this will take place during part of this weekend, not the entire weekend. looking at the general map, there's not a lot of rain to the west associated with the front of the great lakes. a lot of the moisture is being cut off, but some heat and humidity is coming into the picture. the way the jet stream is arranged, the central part of the nation, all this hot, humid weather is in the central part of the region and we are still relatively cool as the jet stream take a dip to the south.
