eight minutes to travel on southbound 895 down to the harbor tunnel tolls. this is the west side at frederick road. a bit of a buildup of volume as you make your approach to 95. problem-free on the entire beltway. white marsh looks good as well. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. back to you. >> thank you. a massive manhunt for a man responsible for assaulting a man working a highway speed camera. >> jennifer franciotti is live in our newsroom with more on the attack that shut down a busy highway. >> is shut down the highway for hours. a speed enforcement vehicle was parked on southbound b-w parkway. the parkway was shut down for three hours with dozens of law

enforcement officers searching suspicious vehicles for the suspect. a man police considered armed and dangerous. they believe the camera operator was inside the vehicle at the time. the man walked all out of the nearby woods and had a shotgun. he told police the suspect began tapping on the back window with the shotgun. >> the witness was frightened at that point and began blowing his horn. he said the individual came to the front of the truck and began striking the front windshield with his hammer. >> the suspect is described as a white male, 5 foot 8 inches, weighing approximately 150 pounds. he was last seen wearing a red and blue plaid shirt, possibly finalannel. the camera operator was not hurt.

around 70 degrees. with dew points in the upper 60's, it feels pretty tropical this morning. the atmosphere will use some of the moisture to create some thunderstorms this afternoon. the skies are clear. we are starting to see a hint of something to develop in central pennsylvania. there is a cold front that is moving towards us. we will see some scattered thunderstorms develop as it bumps into this humid air mass. this front will get stalled on the coast. we'll have a chance for rain in the forecast even for friday. we have about a 40% chance you'll see a thunderstorm in your neighborhood. high temperatures in the upper 80's and low 90's. on accountable tonight with a chance for a shower or thunderstorm. tomorrow, the front will stall in the mid atlantic.

police say assaulted a man working a highway speed camera. >> we're told the suspect has a weapon. jennifer franciotti has more on the attack. good morning. >> the b-w parkway was shot down in both directions for three hours yesterday while dozens of law enforcement officers searched for the suspect. a bizarre incident on to 95 near the bw airport have the interstate shut down for hours. police say a man walked out of the woods and on to the b-w parkway holding a hammer in one hand and a shotgun in the other. they say he approach the speed enforcement vehicle. the camera operator says the suspect started the attack by tapping on the back window. >> the witness was obviously frightened at that point and began blowing his horn. he said the individual then came to the front of the truck and began striking the front windshield with his hammer.
