peers -- 17 minutes on 895 between the 95's. north and southbound moving fine. the beltway and 83 checking out fine. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. strong >> storms move through several different areas last night. >> it will be long and difficult to clean up this volume. jennifer franciotti is live in dundalk with a look at some of the damage. >> those storms came through and they took off part of the roofs of two apartment buildings in dundalk. one of the buildings is to my right. the other is to the left. you can see part of the roofs on the ground. these storms did come through late thursday afternoon. it took down trees and power lines leading folks without

power. little to no visibility with drivers because of the sheer force of the rain. a ceiling collapsed for one woman, leaving her bedroom covered in insulation. it flooded out residents here on four seasons. parts of their roofs have been blown off. >> i was just scared. i'm just scared. we don't have lights or any electricity. we're just flooded. nothing. >> the red cross is helping residents of 18 apartment units on four seasons court. they're helping eight residents who have been displaced because of storm damage in halethorpe. shenzhen, jennifer franciotti. >> as soon as the storm hit, viewers started shooting with their cameras. these are some of the fighters at u local.

thunderstorms this afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 80's. for now to the news desk. >> a horrifying day in michigan. a violent end when a suspected gunman took his own life. police say rodrick dantzler shot and killed seven people in two separate locations. he then led police on a chase before taking three people hostage inside an apartment. negotiations with the suspect led to one hostage being released. a baseball game turns deadly as a rangers fan tries to catch a ball. this happened after josh hamilton flipped the ball back up to the crowd. the man tumbled 20 feet to the concrete below. he was taken to hospital but he died from his injuries.

the warrant was issued on june 29. they're waiting for his release from a detention center. firefighters spent the better part of a night battling a fire in jarrettsville. it was first parted before 2:00 a.m. in the 3900 block of norrisville road. of the home collapsed before crews got it under control. it is not known whether that played a role in sparking the blaze at. >> the space shuttle atlantis is set to blast off today. the weather may not cooperate. >> atlantis is ready to go, sitting on launch pad 39-a. it fueled on schedule. the crew is ready. but the weather is looking iffy. it is atlantis against mother nature. storms are threading today's
