is increasing in volume. no delays are forming just yet. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. back over to you. >> thank you. a disturbingly random series of arson attacks have caught the attention of baltimore police. >> more than half a dozen attacks using molotov cocktails. jennifer franciotti has the details. good morning. >> it does make the victims feel that theretly better were not targeted. there have been nine incidents of molotov cocktails throughout the city. it is all over the city. several have been found in the northwest corner. police did not believe these individuals are targeting these individuals. so far there has been no significant property damage and

no injuries in a vault. one homeowner said she is grateful to be alive. things could have turned out differently if the molotov cocktail when through the kitchen instead of crashing against the window. >> the screen was what prevented it from coming through, the bottle itself, which was -- it was a god thing. i mean, god blocked that thing. >> police to not have a description of the suspect. anyone with information is asked to call baltimore city police. jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> people posing as police officers have forced themselves into somebody's home. the latest incident happened yesterday morning when three men dressed in uniform burst through the door of a home. one of the people inside were shot in the face and is now

listed in stable condition. most residents should be skeptical that any intrusion is a police raid. police have not confirmed if this attack is related to three others. in south baltimore, police continue to search for three suspects in connection with a home invasion. this happened on towson avenue. a woman inside the home was sexually assaulted. another suffered a gunshot wound. authorities believe there were looking for valuables and drugs. >> there was a three-car crash in mount vernon on cathedral street. one officer injured his leg. no word on what led to the crash. >> no word on the identity of a man whose body was pulled out of

the river in cecil county. authorities believe the victim had been in the water for quite some time. >> a man could spend the rest of this life in prison for producing child pornography. he was sentenced to 18 years in prison. he created three videos of himself molesting a girl. he pleaded guilty back in april. police have recalled an arrest warrant of the man suspected in a sexual assault. david randall was wanted for assaulting a woman in glen burnie. detectives interviewed him and police have decided not to serve the warrant. >> a teenager recovers after being struck by a car. as happened in woodlawn -- this happened in woodlawn when she

was struck by a suv. >> another food recall this morning. this one is willing to listeria. kate amara has that story. >> the fda spotted the listeria in one bag of chopped romaine lettuce from true leaf farms, leading the california company to recall about 90 cartons for possible contamination. the ceo says he's working with the fda. >> we grow all our product outside and sometimes it's like finding a needle in a haystack. >> health officials say listeria rarely shows up in produce, but this does come amid an ongoing outbreak linked to cantaloupe from a colorado farm. >> it is a bit of a puzzle for us as to where and the whole process of growing and packaging and distribution it might have been contaminated. >> so far the contamination has sickened more than 70 people in 18 states. at least 16 have died. it is the deadliest outbreak in

a decade. >> it has just been pure hell. devastating, unreal. >> tammy palmer is suing, her husband clinging to life in the hospital. because listeria can take weeks, even months to make someone sick, there are fears the outbreak could get worse. >> we might still see illnesses and even fatalities for the next month up into october. >> health officials do not know how the lettuce or cantaloupe got contaminated. kate amara, wbal-tv 11 news. >> this is pretty scary. are there ways to reduce the risks? >> listeria is different than the call port seminole. first of all, if she did not know where it came from, throwing out. then sanitize any servers it may have touched. the your produce within a couple of days and shop more often.

disturbing series of firebomb attacks with no apparent pattern. >> jennifer franciotti is live with more details on the story. >> police are investigating at least nine cases involving these homemade explosive devices. they're hoping somebody will come forward with information. >> it was 4:00 a.m. i heard a very loud smash, assumed it was a break-in. locked the door and called 911. >> latoya doesn't want us to show her face out of fear of retaliation. but she says she was shocked when police told her the noise that she heard wasn't an intruder but actually a molotov cocktail crashing against a kitchen window. >> i still didn't make the connection. i was like, why would a bottle against the house cause smoke? she told me it was gasoline in the bottle and they had litten it with the intention of -- you know, basically a homemade bomb. >> when she called me and i got up, i saw the smoke. the smoke was all upstairs, as
