suspended from his job as a tsa security officer. he is charged with distribution of child pornography falling in search of his home. neighbors say he is married with no children. they are stunned and disturbed by the charges. most describe them as a straitlaced federal worker. >> i think it is a bit shocking and disturbing to find that someone was living so close, a particular someone who was employed in his capacity. >> i travel a lot and i go to the airport once or twice a week. to think someone could be undercharges like that is alarming. >> the tsa released this statement. they hold their security officers to the highest ethical standards and aggressively investigates allegations of

misconduct. the allegations in no way reflect the outstanding job our more than 50,000 security agents do each day. he was arrested but was released on bail. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> a man is facing charges after he allegedly tried to bribe two children to walk off with him. a woman saw a suspicious man at giving a man money. he tried to convince them to walk into a wooded area. he fled on as bicycle but was later arrested by police. >> testimony resumes in the corruption trial of ulysses currie. john giannetti testified last thursday and seemed reluctant to say there was a relationship with shoppers food warehouse.

releasing its report today in pittsburgh. it will recommend attracting more foreign investment and upgrading the energy infrastructure. the group is led by the chief executive of a general electric. the attorney-general of i what said banks are getting closer to an agreement on a modification and foreclosure practices. any agreement leaves open the possibility for states and cities to sue banks. if you're flying over the holidays, american airlines is cutting flight capacity because of the week at capacity. delta has made a similar move. a biggest move for stocks yesterday. optimism and german and french leaders will work together to prevent the european debt crisis from dragging the u.s. economy

supplement to an early death. a group of nearly 40,000 white women were followed and found multi vitamins and iron supplements were associated with a higher mortality risk. calcium was associated with a decreased risk for early death. more studies are needed to be performed. >> a new poll reveals normal weight americans outnumber those who are overweight for the first time in three years. 36.6% of americans are of normal weight while 35.8% are overweight. normal way folks are not in the majority. since 1% fall into the overweight or obese categories. >> 61 degrees on tv hill. an air ball for the nba.

learned he had a brain tumor. a neurosurgeon was successfully -- would successfully perform that surgery. >> i decided that that was a goal, that wanted to run the baltimore marathon and that would be the marker for me that i wasn't going to love this affect me at all. >> and it hasn't. >> i was running a race in baltimore and i was in the inner harbor and had another seizure. >> john's cancer was back. finish his latest round of chemotherapy last week. he has been training for saturday's running festival. >> i will feel terrible and i will say, go out and do 5 miles. during the race, if i feel terrible, i can look back and say, you do not feel as bad as

you did when you work three days into a chemotherapy cycle and you did 5 miles than. >> it is that passion that inspired dr. q to run a marathon as well. >> together we can find a cure for cancer. >> this is the first time the doctor has done any serious exercising in 20 years. >> he inspired me to go ahead and get out there and start running again. and right now i'm training with almost a terror on the right calf. this is painful. but i see what he's doing -- i'm training with almost a tear on my right calf. i want to help him help was find a cure. this is how special he is. he can move mountains. >> why push himself when he is already fighting for his life?
