we kept the temperatures pretty mild overnight. the inner harbor around 70 all morning. 93% humidity. at 9:00 p.m., will stay into the 60's and around seven degrees this afternoon. temperatures will not warm up as quickly as they have. a chance for rain beginning around 3:00 p.m., 30% chance. a better chance into the evening and better into the night. some rain to be heavy tomorrow. let's check the roadways as we head over to sarah and traffic. >> good morning. we have some fire activity along butler road and central avenue. there may be closures. so far so good on the west side, 56 miles per hour down towards 70. an easy ride on 70 in towards the beltway.

michael scott wilson has been suspended from his job as a tsa security officer. he is charged with possession and distribution of child pornography following a search of his home. neighbors say he is married with no children. they are stunned and disturbed by the charges. most describe wilson as a straitlaced federal worker that took pride in his position and the trust that comes with it. >> as a parent, i think that it's a bit shocking and disturbing to find that someone was living so close, particularly someone who was employed in his particular capacity. >> i travel a lot, too. i go to the airport sometimes once or twice a week. so to think that one of those types of screeners could live in your neighborhood and be under charges like that, it's alarming. it's definitely alarming. >> the tsa released this statement. "tsa holds its security officers to the highest professional and ethical standards and aggressively investigates allegations of misconduct. the allegations against this individual in no way reflect the outstanding job our more

than 50,000 security officers do every day to ensure the security of the traveling public." wilson was arrested but was released on bail. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. police arrest a man they say it was trying to lure children into a part of a pasadena park. a woman called park rangers when she said she saw eight suspicious men allegedly giving two boys money and trying to lead them into a wooded area. the suspect tried to flee on a bike. he's charged with disorderly conduct and for the charges may be pending after police interview the boys. a quiet baltimore committee is the scene of a murder. somebody shot kevin pierre on monday. that neighborhood had not witnessed a homicide in 280

his jobs bill. today, he will get his wish when the senate takes a key test vote on the american jobs act. >> good morning. the senate will decide whether to proceed with this legislation. the president continues to campaign for it. president obama hits the road again today, traveling to pittsburgh to keep pitching his jobs bill. >> his message is, look, this is going to create jobs in your community today. >> with the unemployment rate stuck at 9.1%, the president has been urging supporters to pressure congress to act and accusing republicans of standing in the way. >> if the republicans in congress think they have a better plan for creating jobs right now, they should prove it. >> in a test vote on capitol hill today, the senate will take up the $447 billion measure. it would cut payroll taxes for workers and employers, extend unemployment benefits, and invest in rebuilding schools and roads. but republican opposition hurts

>> gas prices could soon go up again. lawmakers of talking about raising the tax on gasoline. one option is to raise the 20.5 cent tax on gas by 10 cents a gallon. this is not going over very well with voters. >> baltimore has a lot of potholes. they need to fix a lot of streets. >> the latest poll shows more than 77% of those polled opposed a 10% hike in the gas tax even if the went towards the transportation projects. many marylanders would be willing to pay more for electricity if it came from wind power. 62% say they would be willing to pay $2 a month for offshore wind power. that figure is based on studies by the maryland energy administration. that brings us to our water

moisture. this is part of an approaching storm system that will be lifted in from the south. you can see what is happening. the center of circulation is down into florida. it is moving counterclockwise and affecting much of the southeast. that rain is going to make its way into virginia. it will take some time before it arrives into maryland. the clouds are already in place. we had mild temperatures overnight. 71 at the inner harbor. 52 in hagerstown. plenty of clouds and throughout the day. we warm-up into the low to mid 70's today. a chance for rain in southern maryland by the afternoon. heavy rain could start to build an overnight as we head into tomorrow. rain it most likely after midnight. mostly cloudy skies tonight.

sarah caldwell checking on your morning commute. we are tracking some fire activity in two locations. we start along balder road and central avenue. possible delays and closures -- restore along butler road. pratt street and gay street, accident just into us. lay's beginning on 795 down towards liberty. no problems to report down to 95. problem free i 95 out of the northeast. the 83's so far without any significant delays. this is liberty. out of the traffic and those delays are falling into place. -- outer loop traffic. a smooth start on the key bridge. no problems on any of the other area bridges this morning. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> good morning.

neighbors are stunned and disturbed by news of the churches -- of the charges. most of them describe him as a straitlaced federal worker. the transportation security administration took a lot of heat when an officer singled out a 6-year-old for a pat-down in april. but now a baltimore screener is facing charges for his conduct off the clock. 41-year-old michael scott wilson is charged with possession and distribution of child pornography following a search his home. >> as a parent, i think that it's a bit shocking and disturbing to find that someone was living so close, particularly someone who was employed in his particular capacity. >> wilson, who neighbors say is married with no children, was recently arrested and released on bail. no one answered the door at his town house. but neighbors had a lot to say about the accusations. >> i travel a lot, too. i go to the airport sometimes once or twice a week. so to think that one of those
