yesterday. medical examiners are now determining the identity of the body of a young boy found near clarksburg and frederick road. police believe that the body may have been that of mclean. they have been searching for him since thursday when his mother was found dead in his germantown home. his father is waiting extradition from north carolina. he is now the prime suspect in williams' death. >> we have soggy weather in place for much of the morning commute. now as we had to the lunch hour, most of us have gotten a bit of a break from the rain. but there is a new area of rain coming in from the southwest. it is just west of d.c. right now. it looks like that will hold together as it moves north. we're not completely done with

the rain. an area of low pressure is still in place across the state. that is heading north and east as it comes out of the ohio valley. >> baltimore city police are investigating an overnight shooting in east baltimore. the incident happened in the 700 block of north carolina street around 2:00 a.m.. it 24-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the leg. they have no suspects or motive to the case. police are also investigating a shooting in southwest baltimore. officers responded to the 3200 crestman street.and st a great vehicle approached the victim before firing and fleeing the scene. in the meantime, please have a man in custody in connection with the shooting in charles village earlier this month. dwayne licoy is charged with shooting a 22-year-old man.

ohio are on the hunt for several wild animals. they were released from a nearby animal preserve. there are precautions now in place to keep residents said. >> authorities said they think they're down to three animals unaccounted for. only three. a mountain lion, a grizzly bear, and a monkey. the others have either been killed by sheriff's deputies overnight or a day were living in the house in this man's house. most of those are small monkeys, primates. just this morning, a bindle tiger was killed. they tried to sedate it -- a bengal tiger was killed. they tried to sedate it, but it head out into the woods. >> if the animals look like they were going out, they went down. we cannot have animals running loose in this county. the sheriff did the right thing. i know animal rights groups are given me calls right now.

the had a hard time finding her a home because of her unique requirements. a group of researchers say they have succeeded in making a malaria vaccine. that is encouraging news for thousands of children in africa. each year, there are more than 200 million cases of malaria and almost 1 million result in death. the new vaccine was tested on 15,000 children and protected about half of those who received the shop. while the effectiveness are not as high as they would like, it will still have a huge impact. for best results, it should be used in combination with other anti-malaria tactics, like mosquito nets and indoor spraying. women with high pressure are more likely to give birth to babies with birth defects, regardless of the drugs they take. studies have shown that is inhibitors could increase the risk for birth defects.
