manufacturing state. we are a very service oriented state. >> compared to this time last year, the social service industry hired the most people. jobs could be found and office parks and fields of management of companies followed by wholesale trade. employers in the science and technology fields are hiring. the federal government added near letters to the payroll. the infusion of military personnel into has run its course. company announced plans to eliminate a hundred positions in its electronic position facilities. local government said 5400 jobs in september. these jurisdictions will provide the details on why next week. >> that is disturbing. unfortunately, there are times when you have to do bore with

less. but the bottom line for the month of september, private sector unemployment offsets cuts and local government. we will get a report on what caused the declines. >> in washington, senate democrats today unveiled the next remnant of the president obama's jobs bill. it is a $60 billion transportation projects to build roads and bridges. the measure would have also raised taxes on millionaires. >> i think you are going to see very similar votes to what we saw the last few weeks where democrats hang together and the republicans all say no because it is paid for by a tax increase. >> today's unveiling is the second measure of the president's pass a jobs plan to be rolled out and a smaller piece of legislation.

border for hire scheme is on trial. the townsend gas station owner was killed in the plot. >> we are in bel air because the trial was moved here and to hartford county because of pre- trial publicity. this afternoon, jurors watched the police interview that they conducted with walter bishop, jr. he said he was scared and did not want to go to jail. he denies involvement. he said he was in the area but he did not kill the victim. later, he did confess saying he stood there, closed his eyes, and pulled the trigger for times. then he casually walk away. >> prosecutors call the murder of a gas station owner cold- blooded and premeditated. the alleged triggerman was pressured into committing the killing by the victim was the wife. bishop is on trial accused of

shooting 49-year-old william ray porter several times in the head. police found the victim at the gas station on top are road. he was barely breathing. officers first investigating a possible robbery after the white described the assailant as a black man wearing a black city. the investigation took a strange turn leading to accusations of a murder for hire scene. they described a bishop and his role saying he did it for the money and carla porter had a plan to kill her husband. prosecutors believe bishop received $300, was promised another $9,000 for the hit. the defense told the jurors that carla porter would go to the ends of the earth to have her husband killed. for at least one year, she had been telling family members and friends that her husband had been hurting her.

defense attorney said nobody tried to stop what ended up a tragic murder. it is unbelievable the length this woman went to. walter bishop went through great lengths to back out of it. bishop of up to his role in the offense. he made a confession to police where he was truthful, tearful, remorseful. he assisted the police and finding the weapon. >> now, an assistant medical does it -- examiner said that william porter was shot under the left eye. in the taped interview with police, he told them that the victim pose a wife to ask if the victim was dead. he said, i guess. she also suggested that he might have to shoot her in the leg or arm or something. >> it is life plus 20 years for the man accused of killing john hopkins researcher. john wagner was given the

maximum sentence saying he would show him the same marcie that he should. he was stabbed to death while walking to his home in july of last year. the researcher was on the phone with his mother at the time. she testified to hearing her son's murder. frederick police have arrested a man who they are calling a peeping tom. he entered the college illegally. he was found hiding in a shower stall inside the woman pose a bad thing. he was ever arrested on charges of trespassing and burglary. he is currently free on a $25,000 bond. but police tell 11 is the man who was found dead inside a car was shot to death. the body of 21-year-old was found along salt drive on wednesday night. somebody noticed the car was parked illegally and called police. if you have any information on the border, you are asked to call crime stoppers at 1-866-7-
