taxpayers. president obama will reach out to americans struggling with student loans and he will do it by executive order, bypassing congress once again. the administration says millions will be able to consolidate their loans and lower their payments. >> for those in school right now and able to take advantage, they will get that 10% discretionary income cap on their student loan payments. we're talking literally about hundreds and hundreds of dollars every single month. >> the announcement comes during the president's western road trip to raise campaign cash and to promote his jobs plan. >> we cannot wait for an increasingly dysfunctional congress to do its job. >> republicans are responding to the president's new catch phrase. >> this country cannot wait for him to get off the campaign trail. >> john boehner consists republicans have taken action.

a turkey this morning. >> at mother, a baby, and a grandmother have all been pulled from the rubble. >> in reckless tale of survival here at one site and a tale of heroism on the part of the rescue workers. a baby girl, her mother, and grandmother all pulled from the rubble. early this morning, the rescue team heard the sound of knocks coming from the mother and they managed to tunnel to her. one man was picked. he was small enough to squeeze in. they gave him the baby and he carried the child out. he described that moment. >> it was an extraordinary feeling for me. i have been doing this job for 12 years and this is the first time i have ever taken a living person out. >> a little girl was born three

also, a hearing is expected concerning the murder case of yeardley love. lawyer is will see access to our medical experts. a man is accused of murdering her. love died from head trauma. the trial is scheduled to begin in february. >> a man is recovering after being shot in the face. police were called to the scene on east spring street before 8:30 tuesday night. the victim was shot in the chin. a family is looking for answers following the murder of sherry montgomery-cantey. she was found beaten to death inside her home on east 41st street monday evening.
