looking for directions when she was allegedly attacked by a group of men. jennifer franciotti has the description of theand a suspects' vehicle. >> a little girl was walking on lesley street looking for directions, and that is when a van similar to the one pictured here pulled up and a man inside offer to give her a ride to her destination. >> she entered and there were multiple people in the band. they implied they had a short gun -- a handgun, drove a short distance away and assaulted her. >> he says he heard a commotion and a door slam. all of this allegedly happening less than a stone's throw away from this school in them i remember sunday clearly. there was a van. the book but there was maybe a pillow in the van. three boys in the van.

one boy locked the grill to the corner like he was walking her home. the other two walking slower, laughing, walking the other way he dead the girl did not know her attacker and the police are urging everyone to be aware. >> we are not blaming the victim but we know you have to be cautious when engaging in conversation and/or entering a stranger's vehicle. >> now to an news update. route 1 near the conaway the band remains closed this afternoon after a fiery tractor- trailer crash overnight. a tanker traveler flopped over just after 11:00 last night. authorities believe the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel. he is being treated for burns at the hospital. we are following this story. we will have more at 5:00.

the congressional budget office found the richest 1% of americans saw their incomes rise 275% over the last 30 years. meanwhile, the middle-class grew by 40%. the bottom 20% of earners saw their incomes rise by just 18%. >> a doubling in the nation's wealth going to be topped 1%. >> the men of class is shrinking relative to the rest. >> republican officials insist tax hikes on millionaires will only hurt small businesses, but the report claims the average salary for the top 1% is just shy of $350,000 a year. social security benefits is part of the problem. the super committee is still at odds over cutting the deficit. members met for the first time in months and made it clear this

the problem is, traffic is backed up all the way to loch raven boulevard. people were trying to get off at white marsh boulevard, but that is solidly backed up right now. it will be slow going until they can clean this up. >> new this noon, the un security council is lifting the no-fly zone over libya. the unanimous decision was made just one day after libya's deputy ambassador asked members to delay a vote until an official request was made. officials in turkey spent the first half of this week digging through rubble and occasionally pulling out survivors who defied odds after that massive earthquake. but as the days passed, rescue efforts are turning into recovery efforts. we have the latest from southeastern turkey. >> she is the tiniest victims of

the earthquake in turkey, but she has become the biggest source of hope. the pictures and video shows her being held by her mother with nurses attending to her fragile body just hours after she was pulled out alive from beneath her collapsed home. her mother was also trapped and rescued. both were reunited at the hospital and put on a flight to ankara to receive more medical care. she says in the desperate hours, and beneath the rubble, she fought to keep her daughter alive. after running out of breast milk, she said she fed her hungry baby girls lined up. their story has become more rare in recent days. more than 500 have died and the death toll is expected to climb. the other concern is, of course, shelter. many people standing in line for hours for tents and other

>> two months ago, russell armstrong, the wife of reality tv star beverly armstrong, took his life and there have been much speculation to what led to his suicide. deborah norville has a more detailed look at the events that led to the tragedy. you interviewed his first wife. who is she and when were they married? >> we spoke with barbara, his first wife david they were married 14 years ago. they had a son together. very charming, suite 14-year-old boy who spoke to us about his father. taylor, of course, was all over the media after russell's suicide. when we sat down with barbara, she paints a different story.

even though they were divorced, they were still close because of their child, and she said she got some disturbing e-mail before russell committed suicide. they said, they are crucify me, this show is trying to kill me. he said that he was being portrayed through editing in ways that were not true. however, she said that she did not feel like he was so despondent that he would kill himself, which she did two days later. she also said taylor never called their son to extend her condolences on the death of her father -- his father, her husband. there were two funerals. taylor went to the one with the tv cameras, but not to the one in texas. >> it sounds like she was truly shocked by his suicide then? >> she completely blames the

television show. she has been part of the armstrong family, who is appealing to the bravo network to simply added him out of the show. as far as they can tell, those requests have gone unheeded. >> what were her thoughts about the second mrs. armstrong? >> well, i have to be careful. she believes taylor was in it for the fame, glory, and was wanted to become a celebrity herself. if that is true, it would seem that was something that she was able to accomplish. >> you can see the exclusive interview on "inside edition" tonight at 7:00. >> a little bit of a dreary day

today. on-again off-again clouds. the rain begins to taper off one to get waste of hagerstown. that is where the cold front is right now. that will be coming through and drive us out and also bring the temperatures down. take a look at the temperatures right now. all the baltimore area south, readings in the 60's. once you get to the north, we see readings around 60, or dropping off into the 50's. the southwesterly winds we have now become more northerly once we get into pennsylvania. pittsburgh is only 45. 40's in the great lakes. you can see where that cold front is right now. it is buried in those clouds.

to the west, those clouds diminish and the colder air start to filter in. this front will sink to the south over part of the weekend, and then it looks like a storm may develop off the coast. even if the rain goes away tonight, we will need to keep our eyes on the weather. down in the tropics, we have hurricane rina -- tropical storm rina. the track of the storm will take it across the yucatan peninsula. the storm start to do a loop there, not taking any aimed at cuba or anything. at least that is the current forecast. our own forecast, even though we are relatively mild right now, expect temperatures in the 50's. tonight, temperatures start to get chilly as ratings fall and the colder air starts to filter in.

to the north of us, down in the 30's, and a few areas getting near to freezing. showers early this morning and then turning clear and colder. temperatures 32 to 42. there is a freeze watch an effect for our area, freeze warning in pennsylvania specifically. rather chilly tomorrow. only 54. 39 and 47 the temperatures spread on saturday. somebody may see some snow mixing in with what will primarily be rain. for the ravens game, sunshine and readings in the 50's. >> this is the cutest face you have seen in a long time. this is closely -- chloe.

she is so cute. she is ready for halloween. ken hammond is from falls road animal hospital and he is here to answer your questions. what kind of dog is she? >> a pit bull puppy. >> we have some questions, so let's get to them -- suggestions? >> there are some suggestions. it is easy but also hard, like losing 5 pounds. you can train a dog but you have to put in hours. the guys in hollywood use a quicker. a trained dogs to sit and stay quietly.
