trial. >> the judge told currie about whether they wanted to testify in the rhone and defense this week. on thursday, the last day of testimony, irreverent took full responsibility for her husband's legal trouble. she testified that for 24 years, she has been filling out her husband's annual financial disclosure statements. she took over paying all the household bills early in their marriage because he does not pay attention to details. he is not organized. he is a big picture person. she considered filling out the forms since her husband uses as a model for all the others. "i just perpetuated the error." said she never intended to hide anything and that her husband never asked her to.

happy halloween. >> tonight will still be pretty chilly. 30 degrees right now at the airport and we have areas of fog. i saw a lot of deer in the woods. as we go through the day, we'll go up to about 55 degrees this afternoon. increasing clouds. i think is going to be pretty chilly for the kids as they are at trick-or-treating. deer.mention the a deer struck near providence. an accident is being cleared and it is in the left lane. watch for possible delays. we have some other problems. newbury street close at smith street because of fire activity in mount washington.

kim dacey has more. >> on thursday, the last day of testimony last week, reverend shirley gravely currie took full responsibility for her husband's legal troubles. she testified that for 24 of the past 26 years, she has been filling out her husband's annual financial disclosure statements to the state ethics commission. she took over paying all the household bills and managing the paperwork early in their marriage because, "he doesn't pay attention to details. he is not organized. he is a big-picture person." she says she considered filling out the forms a chore. since her husband handled the very first one, she used it as a model for all of the others. "i just perpetuated the error by repeating what was provided the year before." she told the jury that she never intended to hide anything and that her husband didn't ask her to. she stated she misinterpreted the questions. she also said the hormone therapy for her husband's prostate cancer affected his memory. he'd ask the same things over again. the defense asked about currie's honesty and integrity.

this is what looks like when it meteorologists wear green in front of the screen. upper 20's out west. much of the eastern shore starting off below freezing. this is the first time we have seen temperatures this cold all the way to the coast. we have freeze warnings into maryland and delaware. those extend until 8:00 a.m. you can see the storm system. it is moving across the ohio valley. it is pushing towards our area. clouds will be increasing today. wolf finally see some milder air -- we will finally see some milder air. low to mid 50's and some fog and increasing clouds into the afternoon. the wind will be light.
