of michigan into wisconsin, minnesota and throughout parts of the northern rockies. otherwise, plenty of sunshine across much of the country here. temperatures are going to be mild if not warm. as far north as kansas city, 76. even minneapolis you'll see a daytime high of 58 degrees. for people without power getting into the lower to mid 50s will be good news. it's going to be cold at night if you don't have power and no heat. that storm will move across the country. we'll see that snow start to wrap up in denver and watch the rain increase in the chicago in the afternoon and we'll see a fair amount of sunshine in the southeast. cold air behind that system, all that blue is showing us where we'll have very cool temperatures, your high in denver own 34 degrees. then on thursday that storm marches off farther to the east. now we're looking at just rain, say good-bye to that snow.

here comes another system that will bring snow to the higher elevations and dropping snow below the major mountain passes. still going to see some of the rain from the great lakes to the gulf coast and then that system departs on friday. a few showers lingering in the mid-atlantic, the next system moving inland into the rocky. the next system bringing more snow into the plains and into the northern rockies. northeast will see temperatures on saturday in the upper 40s and lower 50s. looking like a pretty good day there in the south. remember later on on the weather channel all you have to do is click over to the weather channel and check out "wake up with al."
