capt. taylor is at the scene. what can you tell us? >> this is the 1600 block of east lombard street, the freedom academy. a group of students assessed a glass jar found on the property. it wound up breaking. the contents in the jar were not known. the children complained of irritation to the guys. the school has been evacuated. they are not saying the kids are injured, but they do want to transport them to hopkins pediatric to check them out. hazmat teams and the department of and firemen are attempting to figure out exactly what this substance was. as we get more, we will update. >> thank you, captain. our big story, today's increase in tolls will be followed by a sect -- second round in july.

steven? >> while these toll hikes are universally hated, transportation officials contend that they are critically necessary. polls in the tunnel and the key bridge increase from $2 to $3. the $5 to $6 on the memorial highway. the rate for the bay bridge is now $4. the hikes are needed due to increases in maintenance costs. the $2.6 billion into county connector is one of the projects. it will start generating its full share of revenue this summer. the billion dollar expressed full lane on interstate 95 is the other express lane that revenue will not begin happening with until 2014. revenues are used exclusively for toll roads and facilities. the agency does not get tax dollars. they say that their funds are

the victim was transported to shock trauma. we are told his injuries are not life-threatening. no word on a suspect or motive in this attack. homicide type of our investigating a deadly shooting near a chinese carryout. police said shots were fired at around 6:45 on monday evening. authorities believe that the incident began as a robbery. this is the second deadly shooting at the restaurant. last year a security guard was shot and killed on the front -- premises. a harford county jury could decide today on the fate of walter bishop. they are deciding closing arguments in the penalty phase. last week they convicted william porter for the death penalty. lawyers told jurors that a death sentence was for -- repeat offenders with no redeeming value. he said he felt ashamed.

on with her life, but her alcoholic ex husband keeps resurfacing. how did all of this play out? >> he not only resurfaces, the ex-husband, but he is really trying to get his life together. i think what is troubling is that she can imagine what their lives might have been like, if he had not been an alcoholic this whole time. it causes conflict in this relationship, but i think it is real. >> all of the themes that you play out are very real. many of us can identify. jason, you have been playing a love interest, mark. most people might be scared off by this situation. how does your character approach it? >> well, the circumstances surrounding someone's life, that

is not who they are. those are the extra things that he deals with, because he loves her. bring all of that stuff on. >> jason, when you are on the screen, it is hard not to think of your father, john. how much you think of him, when you are acting? >> probably not right in the moment of what i am doing a scene. but, i think of him often. >> it is needed to have you as part of the cast. how long are you going to be there, by the way? >> i hope for a long time. >> it is sort of just being revealed for the rest of the season. i think that where we are going with these characters, are they going to think about being together and starting a family?
