university this afternoon. reports by the school said a person with a gun had been reported on the grounds. police later determined the gun was a prop gun for acting class. a fire at a hotel is under investigation. crews were called after 2:00 this afternoon. the hotel had to be evacuated when a fire broke out on the roof. firefighters took the flames -- there are no reports of any injuries. >> the search is still on for other suspects in the writ of a 14-year-old girl. she was taken into a fan and insulted in west baltimore last week. one man was the rest of last week, and his arrest calls attention to the use of gps to track offenders.

robbery. he suffered one shot to the chest and but later died at the hospital. the three men were seen running from the area on foot. the carryout has been a scene of a number of crimes. back in august of 2010, charles bowman, a security officer, was killed in a similar way. his attackers got away with less than $20 in cash. >> for something like this to happen is sad. it is shocking. >> when your letter in march of 2009, three men were shot in front of the carry out. two of them died after reports there was a triple shooting to the victims had ended up dying a similar act. >> residents to frightened to go on camera tell 11 news that they are disappointed that the carryout is still open. back in april of 2010, they had asked city leaders to have a shutdown. seemed that the call is starting up once again.

gas station owner. more on what walter bishop, sr. had to say about his son. >> jurors heard from the father, and also heard from the defendant. walter bishop, senior -- walter bishop, jr. stood in front of the family of the victims. he said, i know if you will never be able to forgive me. he leaves the murder every day. it haunts me at my sleep. hans be what i am a week. he apologized to the jury for having to make life altering decision. >> nervous. real nervous. let me tell you. i just wanted to take him by his hand and lead him out of there. i know i could not. it is rough. >> walter bishop, senior spoke of his on regrets in a recent phone conversation he had with a son. walter bishop, jr. spoke about

being afraid of him getting the death penalty. >> he said, i am scared. i said, i know you are. i would be scared as well. >> he was found of first-degree murder, and then -- >> it happened at the gas station on march 1, 2010. he claimed that the victim's wife had said her husband was abusing her. she pressured walter bishop into murdering her husband and promised to pay him $9,000. walter bishop said he considered it to pay child support debts. >> i closed my eyes. i squeezed the trigger. >> prosecutor told jurors that his consideration was money. he was not under substantial to rest. this was a contract murder. there is no question that aggravated circumstances exists.
