>> his flight is expected to arrive here within the next hour or so. he will be greeted by his mother, girlfriend and close friend who are standing by to welcome him home. he left for libya because he said he wanted to experience the uprisings that were happening in the middle east. he was captured by gaddafi forces and imprisoned in solitary confinement. no one told him what he was accused of. this past august, he managed to escape. he called his mother to tell her that he would be joining the rebel fight, not coming home. his mom says she was nervous about him fighting but supported his decision. now all he is focused on is -- all she is focused on is seeing his smiling face again. >> it is the end of a long journey. it is a happy ending. i am prepared for him to be thinner. he is thin to begin with. i know he has lost weight.

organizers say it is time to rally together to take control of their neighborhood. quite obviously, the crime rate has come down. the murder rate has come down, but nowhere near enough. we believe that if the church is involved, we can go into a community, we can pray for the community, we can support the community, and if enough of us rally in prayer, god will change it. greg yesterday, police arrested 17-year-old markell jones in connection with the murder. two other suspects remain at large. investigators are trying to figure out how a body ended up in a dumpster. it was found it 8:00 this morning in the 300 block of java road. we're told the victim had a head injury but at this time the police do not suspect foul play. still no word on what sparked a two-alarm fire that left two

dozen people displaced. they were forced out of their homes when the blaze started around 10:00 last night at a condominium complex in the 9700 block of haven farm court. it started in the ceiling of a condo but nobody was hurt. we now know the names of the two children carrot -- killed in the fiery crash in prince george's county. they died when three vehicles collided on rte. 50 near martin luther king jr. high way. the children were traveling with an adult in a honda that burst into flames during the collision. four others were taken to area hospitals was not life- threatening injuries. the crash remains under investigation. >> today was something else, not a cloud in the sky. temperatures a little bit on the chilly side. let's take a look at the statistics for today. the hyatt the airport was 52 degrees, 56 at the inner harbor.

crisis, but a lot of us call it a foreclosure crisis. a lot of these vacant houses are owned by big banks and they are just sitting on them. we're sending them a message and we are sending ourselves a message. we do not have to support this with our money. >> organizers say more people switched their accounts to credit unions last month than all of last year combined. in washington d.c. driver will not face charges after hitting three occupy protesters in the nation's capital. they were hit when they ran toward the vehicle. the driver will not be charged because he had a green light. the three were taken to the hospital with non-life- threatening injuries. in the meantime, police asked protesters to move. two demonstrators were injured during the crash. about a dozen people subtends and prepared to spend the night.

quite known for his on eric cantor, andy macphail -- his on air candor, andy rooney has passed away. it was only last month that he signed off from 60 minutes. he was 62. boxing great joe frazier is seriously ill with liver cancer. the former heavyweight champion is now under hospice care after being diagnosed about one month ago. those close to the 67-year-old say they are hoping for the best, the say his condition is extremely serious. if you can recall, joe frazier was the first boxer to defeat then champ muhammed ali in the fight of the century in the

>> it really is the end of an era today as obrycki's crab house closes for good. the family says they made the decision for quality of life reasons but they plan to open a smaller restaurant. you can still get your fix at the bar served inside the airport. obrycki's has been in business for the past 65 years. these women are helping with a special construction project in east baltimore. they left their restaurant to
