a baltimore native was stabbed to death over the weekend. kim dacey has more. good morning. >> 19-year-old kortneigh mccoy graduated in 2010 from poly high school. she was studying physics. on sunday morning. police were called to a house and found her body lying in the street, stabbed with trauma to her head. she was actively involved in her church in baltimore. she was also a member of frostburg's gospel choir. they paid tribute to work during a memorial service. >> love to small, she loved to dance. -- she loved to smile,. was a peacemaker.

shanee liggins was charged with first-degree murder. kim dacey , wbal-tv 11 news. >> . >a body ended up near a business park. was discovered on sunday afternoon in hanover. no word on how the man died. >> a suspect in a deadly shooting still at large if this hour. a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds on bel air road saturday night. he later died. police on the lookout for a person responsible for shooting three men. this happened early on sunday morning. the victims were treated for non-life-threatening wounds. familiesew vandyke's

and friends and supporters welcomed him home. he was dressed in military gear admitted his mother and girlfriend did not know his goal was to support the revolution when you left back in march. >> it might have cost them some sleep, but ravens fans say staying up last night was worth it. it was one of the most dramatic come-from-behind victories in team history and it came at the expense of the pittsburgh steelers. the steelers seemingly had things sewn up. it was a matchup of field goals. joe flacco led the ravens on a drive and hooked up with torrey smith with nine seconds on the clock. the ravens won.

officials are expected to turn themselves in. their charge of failing to report what they knew about allegations against jerry sandusky. he is charged with sexually abusing eight boys. lawyer have all denied the charges. no relation at all with our sports stardirector, gerry sandusky. the trial of dr. conrad murray continues with the jury deliberations. he is charged with involuntary manslaughter. he faces a sentence if convicted including a loss of as medical license. >> people are trying to regain their balance after an earthquake in oklahoma. this was the strongest earthquake the state has ever experienced. two people suffered minor

stock futures more than 100 points lower to start things off on the dow. a slight drop in the nation's unemployment rate. job cuts over at fannie mae. they eliminated 2% of their work force. they're coping with losses from failed mortgages. t-shirts, coffee mugs showing occupy locations and slogans are now being offered on different sides. there have been a bunch of applications from enterprising merchandisers is seeking exclusive rights to phrases like "we are the 99%." i'm jane king reporting for wbal-tv 11 news. >> fast-food chains have been trying to go healthier. now they're trying to make the kids more charitable.

>> police say the victim is 19- year-old kortneigh mccoy. she is a 2010 graduate of poly high school. 19-year-old kortneigh mccoy was studying physics at frostburg state university. on sunday morning, police were called to an off-campus house and found her body. sources say she was killed trying to break up a fight. >> we don't know about anything like this happening. >> she spent summers interning at her church in baltimore. >> some money times you can find yourself on the other end of evil trying to do good. we are encouraged that she is in a better place. >> she was a member of the gospel choir and was supposed to sing with them this weekend. instead, they paid tribute to

the state accuses people of paying a toll. man wondered if he could go to court. what he did not know was that state law appears to be on this side. the promise is the violation notices make some mention at all of the option to go to court. why did the authorities not follow the statute? >> we implemented a process of notice of toll due that we believe to be more user- friendly. >> there's nothing from about telling me that if i do not pay this, i am subject to more administrative fees and they will suspend my registration. i will not be able to drive. >> jayne miller will join us live at 7:00 a.m. with more on this issue.

martin o'malley is defending a plan to increase the state gas tax. maryland would have the highest gas tax in the nation. there is a proposal to increase vehicle registration fees. >> we have a progressive income tax in maryland. we lowered income-tax on lower income families when we did that. we have the 32nd lowest sales tax in the nation. it is all about protecting air quality of life and making together the investments that only weekend make any modern economy to create jobs and expand opportunity. >> the governor supports president obama's jobs bill. >> on sunday, ben cardin launched his reelection campaign. >> the most important thing is to create more jobs. i'm there to work to make sure
