village will learn her fate this morning. she will be sentenced today after pleading guilty to robbery charges. her boyfriend will spend life plus 20 years behind bars. a high school football star will face an arraignment hearing for 14-year-ged rape of the a old girl. he is charged as an adult and could face up to 70 years in prison. >> a baltimore native was stabbed to over the weekend. kim dacey joins us live with more. >> according to her facebook profile, 19-year-old kortneigh mccoy graduated in 2010 from poly high school. she was studying physics at frostburg state university. around 1:30 sunday morning, police were called to an off- campus house and found kortneigh's body lying in the street, stabbed with trauma to

her head. sources say kortneigh was just trying to break up a fight when the stabbing happened. she was actively involved in her church here in baltimore, the empowerment temple. she was also a member of frostburg's gospel choir and was supposed to sing with them this weekend. but instead, they paid tribute to her during a memorial service. >> she loved to smile. she loved to dance. kortneigh was a peacemaker. >> police have charged fellow frostburg state university student shanee liggins with first- and second-degree murder in kortneigh's death. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> here they go again. eight republican presidential candidates will debate in michigan this week. kate amara has more. >> new numbers show controversy

he is no relation to our own gerry sandusky. police in washington state are suspending a search for a boy. the boy was reported missing on sunday morning. authorities say they are confident the child is no longer in the area. demonstrators in the occupied atlantic movement are not going away quietly. five more people were arrested overnight. protest spilled out into the streets. the protest movement began about a month ago. a curfew has been imposed to get the protesters to disband. >> some good economic news. the price of gas is coming down a bit.

afternoon in hanover. it is not clear how he may have died. three people are recovering after gunshot wounds. this happened on a west north avenue. all the victims are said to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries. fire investigators continued to search for a cause that burn down a dundalk pizza place. flames 4 first spotted at didi's pizza on sunday morning. nobody was hurt. >> too much water is being blamed for some dead oysters under the bay bridge. the bay water became too fresh because of water from hurricane irene. the oysters could not survive. there may of been lower oxygen levels in the water. the end of an error.
