what is happening and why it will take several days for them to get their gas back. >> a lot going on there. a baltimore city police officer is recovering after being dragged during a drug investigation. that officer was in the area of north monroe and penman avenue when he approached a truck to talk to the people inside. that is when officers say he took off. somehow the officer got tangled in the vehicle. he was able to fire two shots, but did not hit anyone. police are looking for a light gold late model pickup. anyone with information, please call the police. there are new details in the shooting in baltimore county. jeffrey nichols, 19 years old, was carrying a weapon around 3:00 p.m. monday afternoon.

a in tonight's medical alert, new report is linking asthma and the popular pain reliever acetaminophen. a study showed that of 500,000 children, those who took acetaminophen several times a month had a stronger proclivity for asthma. some researchers believe the drug may increase inflammation in the airways of people predisposed to breeding issues. -- breathing issues. a startling report shows an increase in sexual harassment among seven through 12th graders. nearly half of all seventh through 12th graders said they have experienced some sexual harassment. 2000 students were surveyed this

>> baltimore city fire investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked a fire in west baltimore overnight. crews responded to the 1500 block of beaufort avenue early in the morning. they got the fire under control quickly, but the house suffered major damage. no reports of any injuries. >> you are looking at some late breaking video out of brooklyn, new york, where firefighters and police officers have been scrambling to remove debris from a construction collapse. authorities said the construction collapse dropped three workers. one person was pulled from the rubble and another two have been rescued. one person is in serious condition and another in

critical condition. and an apparent lightning strike has caused a massive fire at a salt water injection facility in texas. several tanks caught fire in wise county in a rural area. fire crews are allowing that fire to burn itself out. the salt water disposal is involved in the natural gas drilling process. there are several around texas. >> ended washington where the deadline for the deficit reduction -- and in washington where the deadline for the deficit-reduction committee is inching closer. among the options floated by republicans, one that would place limits on the total amount of tax deductions and credits that individuals could claim in exchange for lower tax rates. the trade-off could bring in hundreds of billions of dollars
