expressway at shawan road. problem free at the moment heading southbound to the beltway. this is 50 at sandy point. we are not dealing with anything significant. the toll plaza flowing well eastbound on the bay bridge. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> nearly 1000 residents expected to get out there hot water today. b.g.e. crews working to restore a gas line break. jennifer franciotti is live with the latest. i'm sure people are anxious to get their water back. >> absolutely. it could happen today but it could take several days because of the process involved in reintroducing gas to this main line. this all started on monday when a third-party contractor hit a gas main. it knocked out gas to about 1000

customers. crews were working on that main when the accident happened. on tuesday, b.g.e. crews worked to restore service. they shut down one road to foot traffic. b.g.e. officials have figured out how to read wrote a portion of the line to restore customers to about 100 customers. for the other 900 customers, it will be a long and tedious process. officials have to access each home and building twice. >> wants to turn the gas off. would make the repairs to the name. we go back in and make sure it is safe to reintroduce gas into that building and we turn the gas back on. >> there are some warnings this morning. you may be thinking about alternate forms of heat.
