expressway at shawan road. problem free at the moment heading southbound to the beltway. this is 50 at sandy point. we are not dealing with anything significant. the toll plaza flowing well eastbound on the bay bridge. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> nearly 1000 residents expected to get out there hot water today. b.g.e. crews working to restore a gas line break. jennifer franciotti is live with the latest. i'm sure people are anxious to get their water back. >> absolutely. it could happen today but it could take several days because of the process involved in reintroducing gas to this main line. this all started on monday when a third-party contractor hit a gas main. it knocked out gas to about 1000

customers. crews were working on that main when the accident happened. on tuesday, b.g.e. crews worked to restore service. they shut down one road to foot traffic. b.g.e. officials have figured out how to read wrote a portion of the line to restore customers to about 100 customers. for the other 900 customers, it will be a long and tedious process. officials have to access each home and building twice. >> wants to turn the gas off. would make the repairs to the name. we go back in and make sure it is safe to reintroduce gas into that building and we turn the gas back on. >> there are some warnings this morning. you may be thinking about alternate forms of heat.

disappearance comes at the height of a custody fight of the parents who separated in march of last year. one worker is dead and four others are injured after a building collapses in new york city. the workers were pouring concrete at the time of the incident. two of the injured are in serious condition. there are investigating whether improper procedures played a role in the collapse. >> mississippi voters decided against a personhood. this would have included women who were victims of rape and incest. the initiative appeared to have a lot of report. it was opposed by some right-to- life groups. voters in ohio send a message to governors who favor measures as

the ocean. the atmosphere is a little more saturated than yesterday. there is no rain around us. showers and thunderstorms around dayton and cincinnati. it will swap its way over towards us. this is a slower-moving system but it is potent. we will be in the 60's again today. temperatures will be in the 30's into the great lakes. we will see a big change in our temperatures as the swings on through. we have a tropical storm in the same place as a was yesterday. this should be swept out to sea. there could be some big waves along the del mar coast line over the next couple of days. a mixture of sun and clouds. it will be pleasant with a high temperature in the mid 60's this afternoon.

out gas to about 1000 customers. >> the operator saw it during fly out of the air and he knew that something was wrong. >> on tuesday, b.g.e. crews worked to restore service shutting down fort avant to foot traffic. that is bad news for business owners. >> it killed me for the whole day. now they say it might come back on. hopefully it will come back on today or hopefully tomorrow morning. >> b.g.e. officials have figured out how to route a portion of the line to restore service to about 100 customers on the west side of the project. it will be a long and tedious process for the other 900 customers on the east side because officials have to access the house twice. >> once to turn the gas off. we make the repairs to the main. then we go back in and we make

developing along the coast. this is a marine layer of air. that is what the temperature will be a little cooler today. we are dry at the present time. that will change. there is a storm system producing some rain in ohio and indiana and even producing some snow. it will change the temperatures as we head into the beginning of the weekend. it will calm down and we'll get some rain showers. it will shift the wind to the northwest and you'll notice the change of the temperatures in the seven-day forecast. we have a tropical storm in the same place that it was yesterday. i think it will stay offshore. it will be swept off to the north. at the beach, there will be some big waves and some dangerous rip currents. a mixture of sun and clouds.
