we have a slight chance but we're missing the worst part of this. these rain showers are associated with what is left of tropical storm sean. it should stay offshore. it is a few hundred miles off the coast right now. as it moves close to the delmarva beaches, it could produce some big waves. it should stay at offshore. the current temperatures are in the upper 40's and low 50's. the temperatures are not going to move much. we will make the climb into the upper 50's this afternoon. mostly cloudy skies. a 30% chance for a rain shower. the wind will be shifting to the northwest. turning colder tonight. temperatures will drop back into the mid 30's in most areas.

nothing shocks me anymore in professional or big-time college sports. the penn state scheldt is about as close to shocking as it gets. joe paterno this morning is no longer the football coach at penn state. he was fired last night along with the president, graham spanier. the shocking thing is not that he was fired. how in the world did it get to this point? who in the administration or the athletic department or on the board of trustees did not know what was going on as this unfolded? it seems that everybody else did. joe paterno and his wife addressed kids and said, right now i'm not the coach. i have to get used to that. go home and study and pray for the victims. this is the biggest pork i have ever seen in college sports and
