paterno. he has won more games than any other college football coach, but was fired for his lack of judgment. >> a rough night has given way to a summer day at penn state. many are trying to come to terms with the idea that after six decades, joe paterno is no longer a part of a football. >> he was going to resign at the end of the season did you don't give them a chance to finish the season? >> < a week after news of allegations that former defensive coordinator jerry sandusky sexually abused at least nine young boys, paterno and university president graham spanier were released of their duties. >> it is in the long-term interest of the university. >> the decision to send shockwaves across the campus but dozens gathered for a peaceful

sprinkles. it is related to a cold front that will dramatically change our weather. details in just a minute. >> police are looking for information on an alleged a jewelry thieves. authorities say the man in this photograph walked into the kay jewelers store on october 27. we are told that the man asked to look at a gold necklace, and when the clerk brought it out, he snatched it and ran. anyone with information is asked to call metro crime stoppers. the search continues for the person who shot and killed a man in northeast baltimore. police responded to loch raven boulevard just go for 9:30 wednesday night. we are told that the unidentified victim was shot in the chest. he was pronounced dead at the scene. no word on a possible motive. funeral arrangements are set for the frostburg state university student stabbed to death over the weekend.
