members. a big settlement between a unit of bank of america and the department of justice. the home loan servicing will give each service member a minimum of $116,000 to make up for the bank's alleged violation of the service members civil relief act. the justice department calls it the largest settlement ever reached by that department. there is concern that the federal housing administration could run out of money if the economy does not get back up. the agency faces around $50 billion in losses over the coming years. they could seek a taxpayer bailout. it features are a little bit higher. we were helped up by a report showing fewer americans filing for jobless claims.

you'll hear her voice. she said this happened on october 4 at harlem park elementary school. she said it happened when her daughter went back to the classroom to get something. a boy fall for into the classroom and raped her. >> she went to get back to get your coat. >> the girl told her mother a classmate grabbed her arm and put it bockscar up to throat. >> the box cutter was on the teacher's desk. she said if she denied sex with him, he would cut her throw. >> help never came. >> if someone -- my child is supposed to be saved. >> the girl was so scared she did not tell her about the

incident until two weeks later. police say they are investigating. school officials did not return our calls for comment. the boy has not been removed from school. she has hired a lawyer. >> if he can walk around -- is it ok for this little boy to do this to my child? >> the girl's mother says she was told by the school the boy is not being removed because the investigation is still ongoing. she has contacted the state's attorney's office and has a meeting with them on monday. jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> the director of the maryland state highway administration's current agency is no longer with the agency. the lapses probing allegations

received direct fraud and waste hot line about conflicts of interest involving several scenic management employees for certain construction-related contracts. another audit involving u.s. naval department. the cabinet improperly contract for the production of a short motion picture and television commercials and wasted $3.5 million on the contract. it also says the academy accepted gifts without proper authorization and accepted more that $300,000 in corporate sponsorships without review to see if those against came from prohibited sources. the remains that belong to the university of maryland are back home this morning after a woman tried to sell the remains on ebay. these images were released.

five years later, they're back in the school of medicine to be examined. there were part of a scottish collection the dates back to the early 19th century. looking at the remains, they can tell it was part of their collection. the woman said she got them from a friend who worked in demolition. >> new details as police continue to investigate a deadly shooting. police have identified the victim in wednesday night's shooting. was pronounced dead at the scene. no word on a possible motive. police are hoping for a break in the case now that they have identified the vehicle that was involved in a deadly hit and run back in august. it was a nissan pathfinder that struck and killed the tow truck driver.
