news. she said her daughter went back to the classroom to get some books when a class but faltered into the classroom. she said the classmate grabbed her by the arm and put a box cutter up to were throat and threatened her life if she did not have sex with him. there was one other person in the classroom who she begged to get help, but help never came. >> it hurts me that someone would do this to my child during school hours. my child is supposed to be safe when my child is not with may. >> police are investigating. the school is not commenting. they said that the boy is not being removed from school allegedly while the investigation is ongoing. the mother has removed her daughter from the school and has a meeting on monday with the state attorney.

jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> please continue to investigate a deadly shooting in northwest baltimore -- police continued to investigate a deadly shooting on loch raven boulevard. the man was pronounced dead at the scene. no word on a possible motive. >> police are hoping for a break in a deadly hit-and-run. a dark red 1987-1996 nissan path is the possible vehicle. the driver initially stopped at the scene but continued on. anyone with information should call metro crime stoppers at 1- 866-7-lockup. woman severely burned in a fire has died. investigators do not know what caused the woman to catch fire outside her home on south were field drive on tuesday.

books and her coat. and he followed her in the classroom. >> the girl told her mother that a 13-year-old classmate grabbed her arm and put a box cutter up to her throat. >> the box cutter from off the teacher's desk. and he told her, if she denied sex with him, he was going to cut her throat. >> the girl says there was one other student in the classroom at the time whom she begged to go get help, but help never came. >> it hurt me that someone would actually do this on my child during school hours. my child is supposed to be safe when my child is not with me. >> according to her mother, the girl was so scared that she did not tell her about the incident until two weeks later. baltimore city police say they are investigating. school officials did not return our calls for comment. the girl's mother says she's been told that the boy has not been removed from school. she, however, has hired a lawyer and has moved her daughter to another school. >> i had to remove my daughter from her class. and he can walk around the school scot-free. what about this little boy? is it ok for this little boy to
