and maybe in an unlucky break here and mistake by shonn greene and double tip, but it was ninkovich who really just showed nup a up in a huge way tonight. you never know who it will be and there are a lot of guys on the patriot defense who don't have a pedigrees that make you think that they are headed for hall of fame, but somehow belichick goes out and finds them. they make a difference. andre carter another one tonight. >> al: the jets taking over at their own 38 yard line as sanchez throws, and holmes will try to get around it if he can. and he does at the 44 yard line. >> cris: you know, you just wonder, the jets, will they be able to stay fairly conservative offense and ever regularly beat the patriots as long as tom brady is around?

kind of a typical brady game. not always this way, but over the course of his career, 26 of 39, 329 and three touchdowns and ron ninkovich had a interception for a td, and they are both down on the field with michele. >> michele: tom, in the second half, you sped it up, and how did you see that affecting the jets' defense? >> well, they are a good defense and they gave us all that we could handle tonight, and they took advantage of some plays, but i wish we had executed better in the first half, but it is good to get a win. >> michele: gronkowski your tight end of two touchdowns tonight and what is it like to have a player and offense who is such a tough matchup. >> he is. he is big and great hands and blocks and he does it all for the offense. dependable and reliable player and we needed a big game from him and you got it. >> michele: you needed a big game from the defense and they

gave it to you, and how big for them to overcome the deficiencies tonight. >> yes, ron's interception at the end was greatb, and we haven't seen that in a long time and it was fun to see 50 running with the ball into the end zone. hi, mom. >> michele: okay. thank you. talk to rob, and you talkinterceptions, but the pick six and tom said fun to watch. what did you see? >> i was spying over the quarterback and reading his eyes and, you know, he was throwing to the check-down and i took a break on it. and i took it for the touchdown. >> michele: a lot of people watching tonight learning the name ninkovich and a lot of the names on the defense, because you are not well known and undermanned and maligned and how did you rise up tonight and produce? >> well, every week you have to have a solid game, because it is the nfl and the jets are a great team and you have to respect them. we knew coming in here it was a big game and came out to lay it out on the field and got the win. we are excited and, you know, we have to move on the next week with another game the play.
