trial. >> julius henson was paid more than $100,000 by the ehrlich campaign in the 2010 election season. he is accused of teaming up with former ehrlich aide paul schurick to come up with a strategy to keep black voters at home last november when ehrlich was trying to unseat democrat martin o'malley. the robocalls that went out to voters in baltimore city and prince george's county were, state prosecutors say, part of that effort, in violation of state election law. >> i'm calling to let everyone know that governor o'malley and president obama have been successful. >> according to pretrial filings, the defense expert will testify that by the time the calls went out on election day around dinner time, the race was already decided, suggesting henson will try to convince jurors the calls posed no harm, because they wouldn't have done any good. on the witness list is ehrlich himself, his wife, kendall, and city comptroller joan pratt.
