hit the store twice. >> goodwill stores in towns and cockeysville have been robbed three times in less than a week. the good will on joppa rd. has been hit twice, police believe, by the same person. >> he had a gun and there was a confrontation with the employee at the location. money was taken from the register and the safe. >> a week ago friday, the suspect entered from the rear and shoved a gun in an employee's face and took cash from the register and the safe. he is described as a 30-year- old black male, or complected, approximately 5 foot 8 inches, and 130 counts. at the other route robbery on fredonia road, the rest altercation -- there was an altercation between the suspect and the store employee. >> the suspect fled the location and we were able to recover a bb gun.

than 3 miles away early last sunday morning in the 700 block of rynex street in northwest baltimore. the 27-year-old victim was sleeping when a rapist crept into her bedroom. news of the attacks shocked both neighborhoods. >> that is unbelievable. >> police tell 11 news that because of the way the crimes were carried out there were very similar in nature and other things that would not be revealed because of the investigation led to this discovery. >> the suspect secretive his identity by placing items over the victim's face so they could not see him very well. and because of the time frame and the closeness in age of both victims, but we do believe the same suspect is wanted in both incidents it -- both instances. >> unfortunately, because both victims were blindfolded they do

a controversial middle school reading policy. it could change how the subject is taught and who could be required to teach it. >> right now, there are more than 160 middle school reading teachers. under the proposed policy, all of them could be reassigned to teach other subjects. that is raising concern from the howard county education association. that is the union that represents teachers. here is how the union sees it. under the board proposal, a teacher would be required to teach reading along with other subject areas, who are already -- which could hurt students for already struggling to read. >> the concern for students is that they will have more struggles with learning to read. the concern for educators is that we have experts in the field and we want to use those experts to do what they are best at. >> more on the school changes on
