>> live, local, late breaking. this is wbal-tv 11 news at noon. >> we will begin with police investigating a suspicious death of the world trade center downtown. the victim was found around 8:00 a.m. this morning. police say there are no obvious signs of foul play. his identity has not been released. meantime, baltimore city crews are investigating a one-alarm fire at home in southwest baltimore. it happened around 6:30 a.m. this morning in the 2600 block of lehman street. one victim was taken to shock

trauma. residents and neighbors were alerted by smoke alarms. the cause is under investigation. two people recovering after a small plane crash in calvert county. police say it went down around 6:30 p.m. last night at chesapeake ranch states airport. the plane was flying back from illinois and overshot the runway. the injuries are not life- threatening. the federal aviation administration is investigating the accident. one person is in police custody after a triple stabbing in the parking lot of a bar in white marsh. it happened early sunday morning at the sunset beach bar and grill. police said two men with stab wounds were taken to an area hospital, while a third victim reportedly ran from the scene. the man convicted of a high- profile murder of a hopkins researcher in charles village is appealing his conviction. the attorney for john wagner has filed an appeal of his clients first-degree murder case last week. although it is unclear what the

las vegas and extradited to maryland. police say scott was being held without bond, but a clerical mistake recently allowed him to post bond to be released anyone with information is asked to contact prince george's county police. 115 nursing assistants no longer have their certificates at the maryland health officials learned that a state employee awarded the documents to people who did not meet minimum standards. that employee has been fired. a new audit found that 53% of maryland's licensed in assisted living facilities and 76% of state centers for the disabled or not inspected during fiscal year 2010. now that drivers will be no longer issued warnings when caught by speed cameras, howard county executive says he hopes the change will decrease the number of speeders. >> we have mobile cameras, so they're no fixed locations. we're going to move vans around. we do not have enough for every location, nor do we want to be
