interstate 272 i-95. with a cut of the ribbon in front of local, state, and federal leaders, one of the state's largest road projects, the icc, is in the books. noticeably absent was governor martin o'malley, forcing the lieutenant governor to take the wheel. he went as far as to poke fun on how far the how long it took the road to be built. >> the day i was born, this vision of cutting a ribbon today to connect to make counties in maryland, and here we are. >> the completion of the next 10 miles, the only extension left is from i-95 to route 1, which will be completed in the future. >> we have had autobus and downs, but when we started construction, we made a commitment to be on time and

although it may hamper some travel for your holiday plans coming up this week. right now, just like rain across the state. there are some heavier showers to the south. since midnight in maryland, the precipitation has been pretty light across our region. the computer model showed just a couple of tenths of an inch of rain through southern pennsylvania and parts of central and eastern maryland. areas around baltimore have not had much that you could measure in the rain gauge. this is going to change tomorrow and into wednesday. at the airport, 0.13 inches of rain today. highs in the low 60's compared to the normal, which is now only 54 degrees. it is getting cooler across the northern tier. overnight, it will be cool with. of rain and fog is likely. a big area of rain just to the

south at 6:00 a.m. on tuesday with lighter rain or drizzle across the baltimore metro area. 43-54 the overnight low with the breeze coming in at about 5 miles an hour. it is cold up here in northern new england. we are on the southern edge of that chilly air for now. the storm in the southern plains will push warmer air into the mid atlantic and the boundary between the two air masses will be the focus of rain. there could be a little bit of thunder down here on wednesday afternoon. wednesday night, high pressure builds in behind the system. by thanksgiving day, it looks like we will see a lot of sunshine. hang in there for couple more cloudy, dreary november days. in western maryland, it is going to get colder heading into thanksgiving day, but tomorrow 56 and rain. wednesday night and early thursday morning, a few snow

showers may develop in the western maryland mountains. a chance for a thunderstorm wednesday. on the lower eastern shore, thunderstorms are more likely. highs on wednesday could push into the upper 60's, and a couple of wet days before it clears out in time for thanksgiving day. tomorrow afternoon, some rain and snow showers in the pacific northwest might delay things in seattle. nice weather in denver. atlanta, not too bad tomorrow but they may deal with some thunderstorms rolling through their early wednesday morning. that big travel they wednesday might be a little wet up and down the eastern seaboard kuala begins to dry out in the central part of that state. -- while it begins to dry out. atlanta should be cleared out nicely by wednesday afternoon, and on thursday it should be nice for most of the nation, including here in baltimore. but on tuesday, a possible

over for the touchdown. that is a man who likes to hit. ray rice ran for 100 four yards, the third time he has run for more than 100 yards. we all see the trend emerging there. the passing game had so many highlights. smith broke the record for the most receiving yards but a ravens rookie. 509 yards and counting. the ravens were up 31-14. this kid can play. a seven-point game, a perfect throw to jerome simpson. most of us felt like overtime was coming, but the rookie defensive lineman with a fourth- down sack on dalton ended it. a short celebration and a quick turnaround to get ready for thursday night's game at home against the san francisco forty- niners.
