overnight. there will be talk about the accidents that are occurring. that means the airport is running slow. most of the rain is pushing east. baltimore is starting to dry out. the worst of the rain is down in southern maryland. back to the western part of the state, there are some thunderstorms push into oakland. this is the cold front will be tracking. we could see a couple of showers throughout the morning hours and then an isolated shower into the afternoon. we're mild right now, 60's. we're expected to drop into the 50's by this afternoon. it will be turning much colder and much more windy. now we head over to sarah. >> good morning. you'll notice how much volume we have. a lot of folks trying to get out

of town or to work. we have an accident on northbound 95 just past mountain road. another one at 216. two early-morning accidents on 95 to avoid. ridge road is closed because of a downed tree. flooding is an issue in new windsor. this one right church street. you can see it is soggy out there. pretty heavy already this morning, but no sign of delays. we will keep you posted on those problems. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. back to you. >> 17 people are recovering after an accident involving a school bus.

one driver was charged with dui. the bus was carrying five adults following a basketball game in virginia. 16 students were taken to the hospital. the driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries and arrested for dui. police have arrested a registered sex offender. james oliver is charged on a probation warrant in what edgewater. a student reported the incident to school police. >> new details regarding the altercation between the clerk of the courts and day blogger. they're trying to determine whether conaway left his property during the altercation. it is alleged he carried a gun.

>> welcome back to 11 news today. 6:10. 61 degrees outside. we have a heavy batch of rain that is pushing into eastern maryland. it looks like the most steady rain is moving out of the area. there is still the possibility we could see showers this morning as the cold front heads our way. we will see the temperatures drop down. we're talking afternoon temperatures in the mid 50's. winds gusting tend to 20 miles per hour. grab a jacket if you head outdoors. it will be turning colder. >> the texas judge seemed beating his teenage daughter is suspended from his job this morning. he was suspended with pay pending the outcome of an investigation.

all you need is a hot oven and about six hours. heat the oven to about 325. place a metal rack on the baking sheet so heat can get underneath as well. cooking a frozen turkey correctly results in a moist breast. do not turn up the temperature. the inside will still be raw. i don't cook the turkey anymore. >> holiday stress is running high. the federal reserve is trying to boost our confidence in banks. jane king has the bloomberg business report. >> good morning. people are worried about the u.s. banking system.

the federal reserve wants to boost our confidence by making 30 banks undergo those stress test began. this is to ensure american banks have enough capital to withstand any losses. the u.s. postal service still struggling to raise money. they will raise rates for express and priority mail. this is on top of the 1 cent increase to a first-class stamps which is also planned next year. they're looking for more help. they have hired a group to review and advise the agency on its restructuring. futures this morning are looking rocket. more than 100 points in the dow. we get weekly jobless claims today. yesterday we did take a dip.

the accident is clear. you can see a lot of extra of volume. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> a man is being treated for serious injuries after being shot in the woodlawn area. the shots were fired around 10:30 last night. the identity of the victim has not been released. he is described as being in his late teens. no word on a suspect for the shooting. >> a man will stand trial in the slaying of his grandmother. he was charged with first-degree murder in the killing of his grandmother in january. she was found strangled in her home. police did not give a motive in the killing. a judge convicts a man for the abduction of his girlfriend's

son. the man is expected to be sentenced in december. they were ordering when the woman fled with her daughter. the child was coaxed into his car. >> a woman is being treated after suffering severe burns inside her home. this happened last night at liberty parkway. her condition this morning is not known. police have not said how she suffered the burns. >> jack johnson could serve a lengthy sentence behind bars. johnson should serve a long prison sentence in what they call one of the most audacious corruption schemes. he pleaded guilty to shaking down developers and collecting 0,000 and $1 million

game. into the 60's this weekend. >> a man accused inhe death of another man is behind bars this morning. police say cornelius johnson is being held in connection with a deadly shootings in the parking lot of mo's seafood. the victim was found shot and later died at an area hospital. johnson is being held without bail. another man is in custody while another is on the loose. police arrested edwin perkins after they say he and another man tried to walk out of a store carrying two large tv's on monday afternoon. the other suspect took out a gun when he was confronted by a store employee. that suspect was able to get away with the tv. police are beefing up patrols in the phoenix area.
