interstate 195. this was expected to be one of the busier travel seasons than we have seen quite a while, but from what we have seen things have gone pretty smoothly. it is often called the busiest travel day of the year. over at the b.w.i. amtrak station, officials are expecting to service more than 134,000 passengers on a northeast corridor. one-family going to new york feels betrayed travel is still the way to go. >> you can relax and do not worry about traffic. gas prices are so high. it works out to be cheaper than driving. >> and speaking of driving, aaa mid-atlantic is expecting about 800,000 marylanders to travel more than 50 miles away from home, despite gas prices been 50 cents more than last year. and those that braved the roads

seconds. it felt like a lifetime. >> the victims suffered life- threatening injuries and were immediately rushed to the johns hopkins bayview bridge unit just before 11:00 p.m. tuesday night. >> -- burn unit just before 11:00 p.m. tuesday night. >> both victims had some kind of flammable substance on their clothing. we are not sure what the substance is or what the circumstances were that led to than having it on their clothing. >> the araisa windows and melted lines -- the race to windows and melted blinds are raising questions. investigators are not sure what happened inside the couple's home that caused them to be burned. >> at this point, they're not sure if it is accidental or intentional. >> and neighbors also tell us from what they heard tonight sounded like the woman was trying to get out of the front door first.

she could not and then she ran out the back door. that is where the neighbors were able to help her. >> 20 people that are recovering tonight after an accident involving a school bus, a car, and a truck. it happened last night in st. mary's county. the bus was carrying five adults and 28 students home following a basketball game in virginia. 15 students and one adult on the bus were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. the driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries and arrested for driving under the influence. >> an organization that honors u.s. veterans for the holiday season need your help. donating to reach across america is as easy as a point and click. >> it has become a yearly tradition at baltimore national cemetery.
