goes to trial. dodge and the maryland democratic party issued a statement that reads in part, the right to vote is precious and a critical part of our democracy. the campaign sought to take away that right for some of our fellow citizens. the second of two former coaches accused of having sexual contact with a teenage girl will spend no time in jail. he pleaded guilty today to one count of committing an unnatural or perverted practice with a 14- year-old of them that was a member of the climbing team. a judge sentenced him with 18 months in jail at that time suspended. another coach pleaded guilty to having sex with the 14-year-old student and will be sentenced sometime next year. jack johnson is headed a federal prison after being sentenced earlier today.
