confronted the officers. >> he began to advance police officers with the knife. the officers ask the suspect to drop the knife and was shot. >> no one else was hurt. >> another police-involved shooting. this went into come apart. an officer shot and killed a carjacking suspect who stabbed a man at a gas station. suspect crashed into three cars before flipping over. police tried to arrest him and shot him. victim iscking o in critical condition. detectives found a victim dead inside his apartment on violet avenue on saturday. >> we're hoping that somebody

comes forward who happen to be walking by the building to say that this person did not seem right will help us lead us to an investigative path. >> police are not saying if there was any evidence of forced entry. anyone with information should call baltimore police. >> police say the have the man responsible for robberies at two goodwill stores. kim dacey has more. >> police say 29-year-old richard pettaway used to work at the cockeysville goodwill store. now he's in jail, charged with several counts of armed robbery for allegedly robbing that store and another in baltimore county. the robberies happened during business hours. investigators say the robber would force goodwill employees and some customers into a back office and take money from the cash register and safe. the community is shocked by this turn of events. >> i think it's a shame that

somebody would steal from a business like the goodwill, especially since they're giving back to the community and helping those less fortunate. >> court records show pettaway pleaded guilty to armed robbery in 2003 and was given probation. he is now being held at the baltimore county detention center and he is set for a bail review later this morning. reporting live in towson, kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> a police officer is recovering after an accident in southwest baltimore. the police cruiser collided with another car on sunday morning near clifton avenue. another vehicle overturned following that collision. those hurt suffered non-life threatening injuries. of the beltway was shut down on sunday evening after a crash diet wilkins avenue exit.

review later this morning. kim dacey has more. >> police have suspected the robber new lot about good will. the man they arrested is a former employee of a goodwill store. 29-year-old richard pettaway of baltimore city is charged with five counts of armed robbery and three counts of use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence in a string of robberies at goodwill stores in baltimore county. >> i think it's a shame that somebody would steal from a business like the goodwill, especially since they're giving back to the community and helping those less fortunate. >> police say a masked gunmen brazenly went into goodwill stores in the 1700 block of east joppa road in towson and the 200 block of west padonia road in cockeysville. the robberies happened during business hours. investigators say the robber would force goodwill employees and some customers into a back office and take money from the cash register and safe. police say pettaway used to
