gift this year. i don't want anything else. >> she disappeared while visiting relatives over christmas break last year. an honors student from north carolina, her body was discovered in the susquehanna river in april. officials have classified her death as a murder, but little else is known about the case. >> so many times, victims of violence, specifically it minority victims of violence, are forgotten about. >> the guardian angels were back where it she was last seen for a unique visual last week, encouraging drivers to honk in her honor. her sisters say that the outpouring of support means a lot to the family on this difficult anniversary. >> come forward and tell the truth, so that we can finally be done and get justice and it can be over. if anybody knows anything, please just come forward and say something. >> kim dacey, wbal tv 11 news.

>> family and friends were gathered for a vigil tonight in her honor at 7:00 p.m. on grounds memorial baptist church at west belvedere avenue in northwest baltimore. the number of reported sexual assault at our nation's military academies rose in the latest academic year according to the pentagon. the defense department found that there were 65 reports of sexual assault involving debts and midgetman and the military academy, naval academy, an air force academy. efforts to encourage victims to report abuse could explain the higher numbers. police in anne arundel county are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a woman at during a carjacking at the glen mill apartment complex. the woman got into her car to go to work 4:30 friday morning, and that is when a man popped up from the back seat. the suspects ordered the woman to drive across the street, and then ran off with her purse. police are urging

>> we are falling breaking news. the inner loop of the beltway at loch raven boulevard is closed. there is an accident involving police at the location. there is no word of injuries or who was at fault. we don't know how long that portion of the beltway will be shut down. drivers are encouraged to avoid at area. investigators say the fire that killed three young connecticut girls and their grandparents on christmas day appears accidental. an initial investigation shows that fire and embers were thrown away in drawers and likely sparked the fire. the flames were so intense that firefighters were iunable to

strong winds, because we have a very large high and a very large low, closer to each other they are almost competing. we can get the strong winds racing in between the two areas of pressure. cold front is situated over us as well. as we look off towards the west, a few ripples of clouds of there, with all the moisture coming down when of the great lakes. we will have clout in place through the afternoon. temperatures are not so much the big story. it is how the winds are making the temperatures feel g. it is called to our west. 35 in hancock. factor in the winds, and that is what makes all the difference. the winds are gusting up to 31 miles per hour at b.w.i. i want to show you what it feels like when you factor in those wins. currently feeling like 26 degrees at b.w.i. it feels as if it is in the single digits right now in western maryland.

it appears to be a tractor- trailer, a car, and a police car involved in serious crash at this location. we are not sure about the severity of injuries, but state troopers have responded to the location to transport one of the victims to the hospital for at the police car does not appear to be in serious damage. the car that is literally in front of the tractor-trailer seems to have at some significant damage to that. just be advised, the inner loop of the beltway is shut down at providence road. they are making everybody get off providence road. outer loop is shut down due to the fact that state police went to the helicopter here. hopefully they will get the outer loop moving up very shortly. i am captain roy taylor. >> i need a's "medical alert," a
