random attack. any information on the case, you are asked to call the wind -- westminster police department. a $500 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of the attackers. >> pepper spray was used on the effect on. these not only doused the victim with the chemical but they still has close. barry simms is live with more on this investigation. >> police are calling this a very strange case. there are looking for three men who had a brief conversation with the victim and then attacked him. >> i would classify it as an unusual type of robbery being that his clothes were taken during the robbery. we also trying to gather more fax. >> a happen at a bus stop where anne arundel county police say three men approached the pasadena man while he was waiting for a boss. one member of the trio ask a question and the victim was

attacked with pepper spray. >> one suspect asked if he had any drugs. he indicated he did not. that is what the other two suspects got involved. >> the other two grabbed the man and took his cell phone and cash and other items. >> the victim had his clothes taken. he had some money which was also taken. >> police say the robbery happened just before midnight on wednesday. the suspects fled toward walton ave. police were alerted a long residence -- were alerted by residents. they claimed they was a man scantily dressed saying he had been robbed asking for help. police searched the area but could not find a suspect. one woman who declined to go on camera said she was walking her dog at the time of the robbery but did not see or hear anything unusual. >> also according to police, the

victim said that all three men were ski masks. police were not sure if this was a random act or if the victim was targeted. >> thank you. three people including a baltimore county police officer are recovering after an accident on the beltway. the accident happened a route 12:15 this afternoon on the inner loop. we are told the officer is in stable condition tonight. two others were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. the crash is under investigation. a five-year old is dead this evening at 89-year-old in serious condition after an accident just before 3:00 this afternoon. transportation officials say there was some major delays in the area as the investigation continues. no word on what caused the deadly crash.

>> we are learning more about the indefinite layoffs at r.g. steel. the company told state officials on friday about the furlough. the union estimates as many as 2000 workers could be furloughed. the company said work would restart in the first quarter of next year. r.g.steel purchased the plant back in march. more bad news for the real- estate market in maryland. the department of assessments and taxation released its data on new homes. lowel mesler has the story. >> out of about 750,000 homes that were assessed, they dropped an average of about 17.1% when they can to their value. however, this is not all bad news, especially for folks whose
