expected to be taken for the city to pay for judgments in lead paint poisoning cases. jennifer franciotti it is live at city hall with more on this lawsuit. good morning. >> for the housing authority, it means they are about to lose a lot of property in order to pay for a judgment. on the list to be taken, 21 vehicles including trucks and cars and a bobcat, all owned by baltimore housing authority. a lawyer retained from the housing authority and money was awarded in judgments because two people claimed they were poisoned when they lived in public housing when they were children. the city cannot afford to pay the judgment.

like any other debtor, their property can be taken. >> once we get the list, we will deal with which it will auction the vehicles off. this will be a public auction. advertise in the paper. anybody can bid on the vehicle and the funds will be used to pay the judgment. >> a whole slew of computers will be taxed. these property items will remain with the housing authority until the auction takes place. the case will be heard in state and federal court. >> a second person is charged in a bizarre and bleach and attacke. one person faces assault in connection with the fight. investigators said six people

got into a fight. nearly two dozen people were sent to the hospital. jefferson faces assault charges. more people are in custody for a robbery and stabbing in a incident that happened last month. authorities believe they have recovered a weapon that was used in that stabbing. terry thomas is already in jail on the crime. >> the state's attorney plans to unveil a new way to revise the way for its office to handle criminal prosecutions. 30 this so-called prosecution zones will be set up in areas that correspond to police divisions. the change affects about 60 prosecutors. a similar program was under

temperatures are in the lower end of the teens this morning. the wind chills have dropped into the single digits. 19 in annapolis. 10 in frederick. 11 in taneytown. the wind is not like they were yesterday appeared there still a breeze coming out of the west. 14 at the airport. the wind is gusting up to eight or 9 miles per hour. that could drop the temperature down to 0. six in hagerstown. five in edgewood. that is what you want to dress for this morning. especially for the kids that have to stand out of the bus stop. we will see sunshine to start the day appeared there is a storm system moving in from the ohio valley. it doesn't have a lot of

retained to collect more than $2 million. the money was awarded to two people who claimed they were led poisoned. the house a commissioner and the mayor insist that the city cannot afford to pay the judgments without affecting the city. but like any other debtor, their property can be taken. >> once we get the list, we're going to deal with an auctioneer and auction the vehicles off. it's going to be a public auction, advertised in the paper. anyone can go there and bid on a non-federal vehicle, and all the funds are going to be used to pay the judgment. eriff is working on tagging computers. not of the unpaid judgment is over $2 million. >> it is hard to believe
