leigh stevens stabbed to death a corporal back in 2006. a second inmate is also charged in the case. it could be a test for maryland's revived application of the death penalty. four people are arrested in connection with a murder investigation. they're charged with manslaughter and assault. another person faces manslaughter and assault charges. craig myers died aof injuries to resulted from might bar fight. >> kim dacey is live at city police headquarters. she is more on the investigations. >> police are still searching for clues and suspects. four separate incidents left two people dead.

off to white violence start. police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds in east baltimore. he later died from his injuries. police say robbery could have been a motive. a man was wounded in northeast baltimore. he was in stable condition. police were called to norrtth collington avenue and found a man shot in his back. he is expected to be ok. police say somebody shot at the front windows of a home killing a person. no arrests have been made. police are still searching for suspects. if you have any information on any of these cases, you're asked to call baltimore city police.

37 degrees downtown at the inner harbor. we have a lot of clouds in place. storm system forming off to the south. that will bring a chance of rain into the afternoon. temperatures warming into the mid 30's. at best, we'll get to 42. if we have a chance for rain, it will be minimal the possible into the afternoon. >> a bus accident is blamed for at least two deaths in montana. the bus rolled onto its side. three people were pinned underneath. a number of people were critically injured. investigators are looking into whether the driver was going too fast. >> a second grader fired a gun on a school bus on friday.

>> now traffic pulse 11 and insta-weather plus together. >> good morning. sarah caldwell checking on your morning commute. one problem on southbound 95 just past eastern avenue. debris taking up the right lane. no delays because of volume is on the light side. 51 on the west side as you make your approach to liberty road. the j.f.x. in great shape as is the harrisburg expressway, a 58 miles per hour at shawan road. so far so good at all the way in towards the beltway. this is the beltway a quarantine road. construction in place on the inner loop at the curtis creek drawbridge. you can travel on the other loop. just watch for the delays. we will keep you posted on those.

saturday. into the 40's today. this is the moisture coming in ahead of our next series of storms. this will bring our rain chances today and later into the work week. a large area of high pressure in place including over the mid- atlantic. we have a series of storms along a stationary front. the first low passing into north carolina. these are going to march along the stationary boundary and continued to increase our chances for rain. dry. starting off the date dry. here's a look at the temperatures.

we could see some rain this afternoon. baltimore is on the northern french and we have a slight chance for showers. we're back to normal -- baltimore is on the northern fringe. >> the roads are looking good. no delays and no incidents. there's some debris on 95 but that has been cleared. 895 looking good at the harbor tunnel. 52 on southbound 83 coming down from shawan road. on eastbound 70, a 58 miles per hour in towards 29. will check quarantine road. you can see it is moving well despite the fact we have a new construction pattern.

inner loop is closed at the curtis creek drawbridge. this is traffic on eastern avenue. running smoothly towards the fort mchenry. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> a man is struck and killed by a vehicle will try to push his stalled vehicle in st. mary's county. police say the driver came up from behind as a man was pushing his truck. the driver swerved to try to avoid the vehicle but have to swerve back because of oncoming traffic. >> several shootings under investigation in baltimore city. kim dacey is live at police headquarters with the latest on these investigations. good morning.

>> police are still searching for clues and suspects in all of the cases. four separate incidents over the weekend left two people dead and two others injured. off to a violence start in baltimore city. around 7:00 friday night, police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds near ashland and north montford avenue in east baltimore. he later died from his injuries. police say robbery could have been a motive in another friday night shooting. they say a 29-year-old man was wounded in northeast baltimore. at last check, he was in stable condition. police were called to the 1900 block of north collington avenue around 6:00 saturday night. they found a man shot in the back. he was taken to the hospital, and there's no word on his condition, but he is expected to be ok. 4:00 am sunday morning, police say somebody shot at the front windows of a home, killing a 35-year-old. no arrests have been made. police are still searching for clues and suspects in all of the cases.

if you noticed this weekend, weekend when on a hiatus. temperatures into the 60's both on friday and saturday. we're back to normal. a storm system forming in the southern tier of the country. this will increase our chance for rain and it will also increase our clouds. right now, we're seeing temperatures mostly in the 20's and 30's. 37 at the inner harbor. 28 at the airport. 25 in frederick. keep in mind it will feel like january outside. we do have clouds in place and they will stick around for most of the day. we will talk about our chance for rain. the southern tier of maryland will be the first to see that,
