success. but as a tax collector, i have a special feeling for them because they generate so much economic activity around their home games. so we stand to get a big boost in our revenues. >> the playoff game was the first in baltimore in five years. maryland state trooper is recovering tonight after a hit- and-run accident in baltimore county. it happened around 1:00 p.m. -- 1:00 a.m. this morning during a routine traffic stop. shelvin has details. >> the state trooper had a reflective uniform, it was not enough to protect him. the search continues for the hit and run driver that hurt him during the job. >> jason james was issuing a citation to a driver when another car veered off of the interstate just north of boston room.

>> it struck him with the mirror on the side of the vehicle and actually pushed the vehicle into the vehicle that he had stopped. he was sandwiched between those two vehicles. >> the suspect took off with a tan-colored vehicle. he was able to radio for help, was rushed to the hospital, but no broken bones. >> he is recovering at home and we believe he will be back to duty before too long. >> they do not know why the hit- and-run driver went off the road. but there could be several charges, including failure to stay at the scene of an accident. it is a great example for why it is important to abide by the move over law. >> in this situation, that driver should have moved to a

a.m. this morning. the victim was found unresponsive under a vehicle. investigators would not tell us exactly which dealership was involved. but they believe that the man may have been working on the vehicle when it fell on him. the victim died at the scene. police do not suspect foul play. with six days until the south carolina primary, officials said that jon huntsman will announce tomorrow that he will formally end his bid for the white house. it comes on the same day he received a big endorsement from the state, which is south carolina's major newspaper. he is expected to throw his support behind mitt romney. a prominent civil rights leader makes a stop in baltimore today. a new campaign that brought to the rev. jesse jackson to town. new details are emerging after a

and rises north. then it comes back south again. that is why we have not settled into wintertime yet. but this subject stream will allow some of the mild air to come in and bring the unsettled weather our way. the high pressure is settled over us. it is right on top of us. the barometric pressure is really high. the next storm developing out from west is starting out as a cold front. there may be a rain chance as well. 60 degrees to 22 degrees is the overnight low. the wind will be calme. after sunset to more, the rain chances will begin to increase. but it may start in some areas with a brief wintry mix of freezing rain, some sleep, or a snowflake or two. all eventually turn into rain. that is not a big issue. 37 degrees to 41 degrees is the high tomorrow.

the self wind will be 12 miles per hour. dry weather now, clouds begin to drift into the area monday, by monday night, the first rain chance comes in, and any frozen precipitation will be up in pennsylvania. that will eventually turn into rain as well. tuesday looks like a wet day. by wednesday and thursday, it is pulling at of the picture. and we will wind up with the latter part of the week with some dry weather 52 degrees on thursday when we have all of the rain. wednesday will be a blustery day. a little disturbance may produce a few snow showers friday morning and then a range are on saturday as temperatures start to go up for the weekend. and a look at the fox or whether, next monday should be in the 40's -- at the foxboro
