kim dacey is live outside johns hopkins bayview burn center were one of the victims is recovering. >> the family is still in shock and they have asked us not to identify them. on january 11, the victim was on his way back to this home when three armed and masked man suddenly forced their way in and demanded money. the fiancee and the three young children were forced to stay in an upstairs bedroom. his face was slashed and his hands were burned. they took an upstairs and struck him several times with a firearm. the suspect eventually fled the home with a car which was found abandoned. the family hopes telling this ordeal will help bring the suspect to justice. >> i feel like the more that is

publicize, the more chances and he is likely to be caught and this does not happen to someone else. >> anyone with information should contact metro crime stoppers, 1-866-7-lockup. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> jury selection begins in a civil rights trial which concerns the death of a man after he was shocked by a deputy stun gun. this was in november of 2007. he was hit twice with a stun gun while trying to break up a fight. he was hearing impaired and was not he wearing his hearing aid. a body washed ashore in annapolis. the body was found on monday morning. no word on the victim's identity or gender.

an autopsy is being performed. there was a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian that happened on monday afternoon. the driver fled the scene. the victim is in serious condition. >> half a dozen occupy protesters were arrested. authorities say police asked the protesters to leave several times before moving in. six people were arrested for trespassing. protesters want money to be used for school construction. the james senate office building in annapolis remains closed after a water main break. water filled parts of the third
