already the heaviest snow is in wisconsin and illinois. all moving our way. but our temperatures will be kind of on the edge. so, it won't only be snow, but it will be sleet and ice and eventually rain and it could be the sleet and the ice more of a feature. the broad area, advisories and watches and warnings. kind of bordering our area as walker we will give you details on how the storm will be paid in just a minute. in a utah doctor accused of murder in a botched abortion being held with $300,000 bail. he was extradited to maryland thursday to face charges of first and second degree murder as well as conspiracy. authorities learned of the case after he allegedly drove a new jersey teenager to end of the hospital after she suffered a ruptured uterus and injured ball in the late term abortions, and maryland is one of 38 states that could bring murder charges

20 at frost bird right now. satellite image shows the big, heavy clouds, where most of the snow is falling but the knicks of precipitation in the ohio river the river valley. we are on the cold side of things at the moment. waves will develop along the front. storms developing to the west. trekking along the front and coming up toward us in the next 24 hours. there will be warm air mixing in with cold air and we will be at the transition point later tonight and tomorrow when it. that means we could see just about everything, starting with snow and eventually sleet and freezing rain before it turns to rain. but for the rest of the afternoon, sun going to clouds. a lot of clout as the evening. chilly, 35-40 and struggling to make it to 35 right now. variable winds, 10-15 miles an hour. here is how looks tonight. clouding up by late afternoon and evening, and by midnight, probably some snow falling. temperatures in the 20's.

by 3:00 a.m. begin to mix the snow with sleep. depending on when it happens, a little later of north and sooner down south. cutting into the snow accumulations. but sleet can accumulate a little bit. then things getting pretty slippery. temperatures, 28. by 6:00 a.m., most of the snow is gone except perhaps to the north but we are beginning to see freezing rain mixed with the sleet. that is what i think things will get dangerous. temperatures right around 30 degrees. here is the instant whether futurecast to show what happens. by 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, we begin to see the wintry mix coming away, the sleet and freezing rain, the pink shade and the snow is the narrow band of blue/white. then the mix comes into the picture and eventually during the day we get some rain exceed in as well. here is what the future-past calls for. less than an inch south of baltimore. but for baltimore, maybe an inch
