anyway. so the weather service still has an advisory in effect. the possibility of icing west of the chesapeake bay. when you are close to the water, it is warmer. once you get away from the water, it is close to 32 degrees. 27 in parkton. especially northern and western suburbs. there is a possibility if you get into that little freezing fog or mist that there could be ice out there. winds will turn to the south. right now winds are calm. as soon as we can get the winds to start kicking up, the temperatures will change. as a matter of fact there is warm air off to our west. temperatures are in the 50's in west virginia right now. right now the cold air is lodged in place. eventually we'll make it into the 40's this afternoon. the cloud cover is thick out there. we're not going to get help with sunshine out there. the rain isn't far behind.

betting on casinos. here in new york, a new casino opened up last fall, and a state bill paves the way for three casinos in florida. analysts say job creation is something we need. the national association of business economics is getting pessimistic on job growth. they say in the next six months, shares fell from 27 -- from 29% to 27%. the nasdaq lagging behind. you can blame weak quarterly reports from google for that. gas rose to an average of poisoned 3.39 nationwide.

surface, but there was no sign of andy's wife and son. >> i dove under looking for them, didn't find them the first time, went back, came down, i went up and had logan in my arms, and when i went back to the surface, jenny was at the surface with the pilot holding here. we were all still in shock at that point. we knew we had survived the initial crash, but we did not know where it was going to go from there. >> remarkably, a u.s. navy doctor and another physician were among the divers on a much larger boat and immediately started treating andy's wife and son. >> they screamed there were two doctors on board, they got them oxygen and treated them with all their skills. >> the entire family spent days in a hospital before returning home late thursday night. >> it reaffirms your faith in people and humanity that so many people stepped in to help that didn't have to. >> that's an amazing story.

about, that's for sure. >> this winter has been lack luster. live in hampton we're talking about a lot of the side roads. those were the places impacted by the winter snow on saturday. if you heard behind me, a car was struggling to get up this hill on 38, and that is still ice covered. the roads that did see a lot of traffic this weekend are still covered in ice. same with the sidewalks as well. those will be the icyest areas. we're talking about the freezing fog. we're starting to see fog build in hampton. anywhere it is at freezing or below that, fog could start to freeze on a few surfaces, whether it be the windchill, the roads. take it easy as we head out this morning. i know saturday with only an inch of snow wasn't anything to write home about, but that is going to cause travel problems this morning. it is about mid winter, and really nothing to speak about.

32 in sykesville. if you are a neighborhood that has a temperature below freezing, maybe minor icing. now winds are calm. we're waiting for the winds to pick up out of the south. we're going to sour out this -- scour out this colder air mass. it will be a slow process. we're getting into a situation with the winds coming out of the northeast. it is kind of hard to move it. you can see the tments are in the 50's in west virginia. there is warm air trying to come in. i think we will eventually do that by the time we get into the afternoon. that's good because we have a lot of rain coming in. if we kept the temperatures at or below freezing, we would have a bigger problem. cloud cover out there this morning as well, we will not get sunshine from the clouds. fog or mist or drizzle to start out the day. sunshine coming across tennessee or kentucky.
