>> what to lawmakers from maryland have to say about the president's speech? kim dacey is live with their reaction. >> before the speech last night, 11 news talked to some lawmakers about what they expected from the state of the union. because it's an election year, those expectations were high. they told us they wanted president obama to be specific, strong, positive, and bipartisan. after the state of the union, we caught up with those lawmakers to see how the speech stacked up to those expectations and no big surprise -- we got a divided response. >> i want this president to be specific, to talk about solutions and bring our country together, and i thought that he did that. he came up with ideas that both democrats and republicans can agree to to help our country. >> i did not hear anything new today. the president obviously can't run on his record, so he blamed a few people and he dragged out some of the same old policies that he's had in the past. he talked about another stimulus bill. he talked about solyndra-type programs.

from the air in one of our police helicopters. >> the suspect was control of his vehicle and slammed onto a truck. the suspect was pronounced dead at shock trauma. four people in the other vehicles were not injured. there are a series of home break-ins in the moncton area. four homes were burglarized last friday. they would open the garage door and ransacked homes. the suspects are believed to be two african american males. anyone with information is asked to call 911. >> 32 degrees on tv hill. your kids' school lunches will
