intend to commit hostile acts in the united states. >> this u.s. attorney outside federal court after a 22-year- old benjamin antonio martinez, a k a muhammed hussain, pleaded guilty to attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. he began talking more and more about attacking military targets in the u.s. and actually tried to recruit fellow muslims at a mosque he was attending. a confidential source contacted fbi agents when he thought it was going too far. it was this lead that broke the case right open. >> from their initial cooperation, we were able to roll our resources in and mitigate this threat. >> on november 16th, 2010, a confidential source and an undercover fbi agent who posed as the sources afghani brother

met and planned to blow up the recruiting center. on december 8th, martinez was presented with a vehicle armed with what he thought was a bomb, and taught how to use it. he then admitted on tape his intent of blowing up the career center and then carried out his plan. >> he drove the car, parked the vehicle in front of the building, then went to a vantage point with the confidential source to see the effect of what would happen when he actually activated the bomb. he did not do that until he was informed by the undercover agent that there were at least seven soldiers in the building. >> martinez was immediately arrested when the bomb did not go off. he agreed to a 25-year prison term. the judge can deny that or change it up and down up to life in prison. he is scheduled to be back in court for sentencing on april 6th.

>> thank you. also in court today, and 18- year-old man is pleading guilty to two deadly shootings. he is expected to receive a double life sentence for two counts of first-degree felony murder. he was arrested in 2010 for shooting a man at the mr. wings pizza shop. that arrest led police to also charged him in the killing of a 7-eleven store clerk earlier that summer. three other teenagers are also accused and their trials are set for later this year. there is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in and around all county -- and are run the county -- anne arundel county. investigators say they are looking for two african-american males.

one is tall, the other shorter. the murder happened just after 2:00 in the morning on the sixth. anyone with information on the case is asked to call the police department. >> take a look at this. sky team 11 was over the scene earlier this morning where we are told a car lost control and struck this home. it happened along the 600 block at 7:00 this morning. the driver was taken to a medical center for non-life threatening injuries. at this hour, it is unclear why the man lost control of his vehicle. baltimore police are investigating a deadly crash that happened at the post office this morning. it happened along the 1800 block of red run boulevard. that was around 7:45 a.m.. an initial investigation revealed that the driver was trying to make a left when another vehicle ran into him. there is no word on which driver was at fault but the

investigation will go to the state's attorney for review. >> one day before announcing chuck pagano as the new head coach of the indianapolis colts, the team's owner says he expects him to be the man to rebuild the franchise. pagano took to the podium today. we have more on that. >> it is the gift that keeps on taking, first the hopes and dreams of the ravens making it to the super bowl, then their defensive coordinator goes to the indianapolis colts. pagano spent just one year at the helm of the ravens defense. ravens ranked third in points per game and yards allowed. players loved him and sing his praises. peyton manning remains in limbo and when asked if he expects to coach, pagano replied, i do not know.
