the state police is continuing to investigate what happened. maryland state police are trying to figure out how one of these cars ended up on the wrong side of route 50 early saturday morning. three teenagers including britney walker worked in a car that was traveling the wrong way. that car slammed into a car driven by it terry davis and sparked a fire. britney and her fellow passengers all died at the scene. officials say terry davis and died on the way to the hospital. britney's family declined to talk on camera, but she played soccer and lacrosse at a high school. a spokesman for anne arundel county public schools said that sec three rows graduated from the high school. -- from meed high school. several people called 911 to report a car that was traveling

on the wrong side. it is unknown of those reports are not connected to the accident, state police have not said if alcohol or speeding was a factor. a spokesman for the anne arundel county schools of a grief counselor will be there at school tomorrow. >> thank you. the investigation continues into the deaths of two people in queen anne's county where police say a driver struck a pedestrian and both were hit by another vehicle. if it happened before 7:00 yesterday morning on route 544 in crumpton. megan pulley struck a 57-year- old with her car as he was standing or walking along the road. when she got up to help him, another car hit the votes. one was flown to shock trauma and was later identified.

police say she stopped immediately after the accident to help. friends and family gathered tonight at a candlelight vigil to remember a woman who was killed in a hit-and-run accident last week. police say beverly more was crossing an intersection near lincoln share court when she was struck by a car. the driver failed to stop off and turned on to joppa road. they hope someone will come forward. the vehicle is described as all light-colored 4 door ford 500 sedan. the car may have damage to the right front bumper. if you have any information, call baltimore county police at 410-307-2020. prince george's county police say the man whose body was pulled from a well may be a

victim of a homicide. his body was found at the bottom of a 20-foot well. police had been tipped off by an anonymous caller. prince george's and alexander police are planning a news conference tomorrow. occupy protests began to heat up again across this weekend. clashes with police turned violent as demonstrators were a arrested in oakland, california. in washington, they plan to crack down on occupied d.c. protesters. barbara hall takes a look at how the protests are going. >> occupy oakland protesters took to the streets again this weekend and the scene turned violent. demonstrators tossed bottles at police who responded with tear gas and smoke. >> there are cops on one hand. we turned around, there are cops on the other end. there is no way out. all of thes had

highway patrol says that 10 people died in a series of crashes this morning on a dark hallway that was shattered and haze and smoke. seven tractor-trailer's and 12 passenger vehicles were involved in the pileup on interstate 75 in gainesville. some burst into flames. a mix of heavy fog and thick smoke blew across the highway. it caused havoc on the northbound and southbound side. the visibility was so poor that rest were is could only listen for screams to locate the victims. >> those conditions of smoke and the fog settled and over the area very quickly anticipated the visibility. >> police say the fire began yesterday. they are trying to figure out whether it was intentionally set. the fire is contained but still burning tonight. a texas sheriff said that he was

our west. what is happening is that -- there is a cold front coming, too. this band of what was snow and a spotty shower activity has run into that dry air and is shrinking. there could be some slippery driving conditions up towards the pennsylvania line where temperatures are colder. there might be a few slippery spots on the roads. take it easy. but it is not as bad as it was when it was back in carol n. frederick county and washington county in the past hour. as it moves to the east, it will continue to shrink it down. 48 was the high at the airport today. the inner harbor hit 50. the typical high is 42. we were well into the 50's yesterday. the day before we were into the 60's. so, we are still running above the average for the season. the morning low of for this morning was around the freezing point. here is a graph saying where we have been and where we are going
