up the mob of people. there was a pair of shootings on sunday. a man was found shot in the like at york road and coldspring lane. before 8:30, a shooting hillen avvenue enue. neither victim's injuries are considered life-threatening. >> the debate over legalizing same-sex marriage is heating up in annapolis. kim dacey is live to explain. >> tonight a statewide coalition of faith and community leaders will stage a demonstration in annapolis against the governor's bill to legalize same-sex marriage. governor martin o'malley made it clear that passing the bill is on the top of his agenda for

the legislative session in the 2012 general assembly. a similar bill was passed in the senate last year but stalled in the house. this year, the governor says the bill contains more language to protect the rights of religious institutions that don't want to recognize same-sex marriage. the governor addressed a national conference on gay and lesbian equality that was in baltimore this weekend and says compassion, understanding, and justice are needed in the debate over same-sex marriage. >> it is the dignity of a free and diverse people who at the end of the day all want the same thing for their children -- for their children to be able to live in a loving and a caring and a stable home that is protected equally under the law. >> tomorrow, the senate judicial proceedings committee will hold a hearing on this year's bill to legalize same-sex marriage. reporting live in the newsroom, kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> police want to know what a

car carrying three teenagers was barreling down the wrong way on route 50 on saturday morning resulting in a deadly crash that killed the teenagers. the car carrying breanna franco, zachary rose, and brittany walker was traveling west on eastbound route 50 when it collided with a car that was driven by terry davis. all three teenagers died at the scene. the investigation continues into the death of two pedestrians killed in a crash. on saturday morning, megan pulleyn struck thomas gustafson just west of 290. megan pulleyn got out and both were struck by a second car.

so far no charges have been filed. family and friends gathered to remember a woman killed by a driver last week. the woman was crossing near lincolnshire court when she was struck by ford sedan. witnesses say the driver failed to stop. anyone who might have seen anything should call baltimore county police. >> a man whose body was pulled by a well may be the victim of a homicide. he was found at the bottom of a well after police received a tip. police are planning a news conference later today to discuss the case. >> the republican contest is

this is the harrisburg expressway at york road. that is one spot we're getting reports of ice so be extra careful. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> smoke and fog are being blamed for a massive accident that killed 10 people in florida. rescue crews had to find people by listening for their screams. this was a chain reaction crash nearly a mile long. the smoke came from a brush fire. a new lead in the the search for a missing toddler in maine. the girl has been missing for six weeks. blood was found in the home of her father. he said the girl was missing

u.s. airways is thinking about going after american. facebook will file for an initial public offering as early as this week. most stocks falling are reports of the u.s. economy grew less than forecast. the bloomberg maryland index was slightly higher thanks to gains from under armour. giant foods is recalling a pancake mix. it was cross contaminated with soy products. they are still safe to eat if you are not allergic to sauoy. 25% of men admit to checking nfl scores while in the bathroom.

against the governor's bill to legalize same-sex marriage. they want marriage to be between a man and a woman. the issue is not a new one in annapolis. last year a bill passed in the senate. the governor says getting a similar bill passed this year is one of his top priorities. >> other states have found a way to protect their rights equally. it's time for maryland to do the same. civilweek we propose a sim marriage law in the general assembly and we seek to get it done this year. >> the governor addressed a national conference in downtown baltimore this weekend. he feels this bill has more specific wording to protect religious institutions. he said compassion, understanding, and justice are needed in the debate over same- sex marriage. >> it is the dignity of a free and diverse people who at the
