we finished january with unusual warmth. 66 degrees. 69 is the high. a harbor made it to 68. the normal is only 42. 24 degrees normal today. put it together and january 2012, 26 place. records go back to the late 1800's. it was the 26 warmest with an average of 38.2. the 1930's were warmer around here. 37, 33. this one was in the top 26 of the all-time warmest. it is unseasonably mild. it feels like spring. temperatures are in the 50's. even along the coastal region, the water is not cooling things off. maybe a shower. the morning temperatures will be warmer than a typical high for
