>> police tell us they arrested three of the suspects yesterday, and the fourth suspect today. a motive is still unclear in this case, but police believe the four men conspired to kill the victim, 19-year-old rodney pridget, outside of towson town center, and amazingly, virtually every move they made was caught on surveillance video. >> during the last big job and push on december 14 before christmas last year, a shocking crime committed outside the towson town center mall, 19- year-old rodney pridget was found shot to death outside the macy's store. now under arrest, tyrone brown, frank williams, jermell branden, and william ward iii and

have all been charged with first-degree murder in the death of rodney pridget. >> police believe that tyrone brown was the triggerman and a series of phone calls leading up to the shooting. with the suspects were not counting on is that most of their activity in and around the mall was caught on hundreds of surveillance cameras and analyzed by detectives. >> footage by all of those cameras, both inside and outside, was instrumental in helping the detectives make these arrests. >> police said that the surveillance video shows that jermell branded noticed a rodney pridget and his girlfriend at the mall. he called frank williams, and that williams drove tyrone brown and william ward iii to the mall. pridget and his girlfriend were followed by the mall -- around the mall by the four men, as seen on surveillance video.

brown went quickly after them when they left. video shows the suspects walking quickly through the mall afterward, and to the parking garages. >> the victim leaves the mall, and he is murdered by the shooter. tyrone brown fired multiple shots. he falls outside the nordstrom department store, which is where officers found him, dead when they arrived. >> all four suspects are facing first-degree murder and using a handgun in a felony. it is a mystery still why they wanted the victim killed, our police are simply not releasing that information at this point. all four suspects are being held without bond as the case is under investigation. >> thank you. deliberations continue in the trial of an inmate accused of murdering a maryland corrections officer. the jury is considering key

evidence against leigh stevens, who could be facing the death penalty can base he has the latest. -- the death penalty. camp kasey has the latest. >> the jury has been sorting through more than three weeks of testimony and evidence and if they find stevens guilty, they will have to decide whether or not to give him the death penalty. thursday was the first full day of deliberations in the trial of lee stevens. he is accused of murdering a corporal, a guard on duty at the maryland house of correction in 2006. stevens was incarcerated there at the time on a murder charge. another prisoner is also charged. yet the competency hearing scheduled for april. lawyers spratt doug stevens trial with closing arguments wednesday morning. -- lawyers wrapped up steven straw with closing arguments wednesday morning. both sides agreed it was brutal

and. this -- and senseless. the guard was stabbed 12 times, some of the wounds from behind. the prosecutor said it showed that they sneaked up on him. one witness said stevens was one of those who attacked the guard. the defense said they were too far away and it was too dark to identify the attackers. evidence found in stevens sell and his boxers he was wearing that night all had the gartz blood on him. -- all have the guard's blood on them. the defense claims the evidence was contaminated. the jury has asked to see evidence again, but otherwise, no word from the jury. the jury will be back deliberating at 9:00 a.m. monday
