trooper was attempting to pull over a suspected drunk driver when the suspect took off, leaving the officer on a pursuit. at some point, the suspect slammed his chevy cobalt into the cruiser. the suspect, 22-year-old john nussle v, was later arrested by police. he faces various charges, including first-degree assault and driving under the influence. 11 news has obtained a surveillance video of the alleged beating of a suspect by a baltimore city police officer. you can see a man named ricky thomas duck around the corner of north dukeland street soon after, a pair of police officers entered the from and what appears to punch thomas in the face and stomped on him. that office resident identified as daniel briggs, who has been on police duties since the
