everyone this to breast cancer is a personal topic. the idea that funding would be cut from breast care programs did not make sense. >> in contrast, the maryland coalition for life applauded the decision to end the financial support of planned parenthood. friday, the foundation announced it had changed its mind. the founder issued an apology saying "we will continue to fund existing grants including those of planned parenthood." she said that the organization was distressed that changes to the funding was done for political considerations. they were not. there is an investigation to see whether it planned parenthood is using federal money to use toward abortions. >> we feel it was politically motivated. 85% of what we do is preventive. sex education, preventive cancer

screening, birth control methods, st the treatment and testing. >> of the past five years, the susan g. komen grant provide services to 175,000 women. >> lawmakers want to make sure any possible increase in the tax is used for the purpose intended. if it passes, the proposal increase the price by 21 cents a gallon for gas. this will be earmarked for state road projects. house and senate members are working on legislation that would protect existing and future transportation funding. >> right now, the taxpayer can look at it as a miss trust fund. >> exemptions would be included to allow the governor to use transportation funds for emergency and public health and safety threats. the delivery of the new state

state police say that john nussle's vehicle pulled up beside the trooper. >> he looked at the trooper, revved his engine, went down the road. the trooper initiated a traffic stop. the pursuit ended when the police cruiser hit a wooden fence. the driver fled but they found the vehicle and pursued it. john nussle was not injured. in 2010, he pleaded guilty and was given probation for driving under the influence. in 2008, he pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license. the trooper joined the state police in 1998, he is on the left in this picture.

this is the first of the western storm system that arrives with a chance and some light rain. this will continue into tomorrow night. partly cloudy skies, calm wind, above freezing in town. then, the cloud increases as we get into the afternoon showers. the afternoon highs of about 45- 50. high-pressure brought us the cool weather today but this is leaving now. this pocket believe allowing this major storm to develop. this is leaving colorado now but it is leaving 3-4 feet in the mountains west of denver. about 14 inches in metro denver. the wind is betting east. the storm system is centered in eastern oklahoma and severe thunderstorms are breaking out on the south side of it. most of the weather will be out in the midwest. it should weaken have a little

bit. we have rain getting into the ohio valley. there is a lot of cold air in the east on the west side of the system. the increasing cloudiness, the chance for rain tomorrow night, early sunday morning. then, the storm system will slide south and east and move away? we might see some breaks by sunday afternoon. late afternoon, into sunday morning. right now, it looks like most of the accumulation will be out in the mountains. it is possible that this would sneak across the northern tier near the pennsylvania line. we will have to see how the storm system tracks. 40 with a range snow makes in the mountains. a 30's on sunday. a shower of arriving in the afternoon or evening. possibility of snow mixed in in the northern sections.
