clouds are thickening up. the skies were clear last night. most areas will be above freezing. here is the storm system that is producing snow back into west virginia and kentucky. i think we'll start with a mix of rain and snow sometime during the middle of the day. it will be cold enough to changeover to some light snow. most likely will be snowing for the evening commute. this may be the first time you drive through some snow during the rush hour. we do expect at least some accumulation with this. it will start as a mix. about an inch looks like a good bet for most of you watching

a number of factors are driving this increase including demand. people are holding on to their cars longer so there are fewer for sale. price changes again for the airline industry. this does not line up with the new regulations put into place. >> airline passengers got a dose of reality when the real prize for the trip was posted. other companies may not be so quick to go along. >> the customer is being manipulated intentionally. >> the airlines are being forced to comply with new pricing regulations. others are still confusing customers with hidden taxes and surcharges.

this will be the first time you'll see some snow during a commute time this winter. 36 at the airport. i think everybody will get a chance to get above 32 degrees. that is important because we will not see the icing. the clouds have been thickening up. the temperature has dropped. temperatures are coming up if you degrees before sunrise. some pretty heavy snow across parts of ohio and moving into west virginia. it will take a few hours for that to move into maryland. i think it will start as a mix of rain and snow. it will change over to all snow during the afternoon hours.
