now that the winds are dying down a little bit. we have quite a breeze of their but it is not nearly as windy as it was earlier in the day. temperatures and wind will continue to fall off tonight. these are the winds in the area. they are only in the 15-18, may be pushing 20 miles per hour range. the gusts are a lot weaker than they were earlier today. that is kind of helping the temperatures of little bit. the temperatures -- it feels like temperatures are still in the teens. the actual temperatures are in the mid to upper 20's right now. the wind until becoming less of a factor. the air temperature tonight will drop to the teens. so we are still hanging on to cold weather for one more night. the insta-weather-plus forecast is looking up. coming up in it just a minute. >> heavily father, we thank you for sharing our sister whitney with us. today our thoughts are with her

baltimore. >> political analysts say the increase could help the city make up for the approximately 30,000 people left between the previous two census report. >> crime statistics have dropped compared to previous years. but a spokesman says that she was to build on the numbers and will unveil their idea to make city streets safer. she is expected talk about her plans to cut the cities property tax from $2.26 to $2.20 by the year 2020. it is a realistic goal, but it still puts the city at a much higher rate compared to surrounding counties. >> that will be her biggest challenge. a lot of people say that is not enough. the good news is that people and businesses make their location decisions based on a number of factors. >> when it comes to city schools, the mayor is expected to talk about more funding of construction. this could generate millions of dollars, but not enough to pay for all the necessary

the harford county sheriff's office is investigating the stabbing of a cab driver. pick a passenger or around 1:30 saturday morning. according to the sheriff's office, the suspect stabbed him in the upper body before running away. that was near crescent noll drive. more debate over the martin luther king memorial. officials are not happy with the decision to change the inscription. the national park service said friday it will replace the current inscription with the full quote instead. they say the abbreviated version is not accurate. the president of the project is worried that the changes will damage the structure. the president changed a controversial policy regarding birth control coverage on friday, but some lawmakers still are not happy. the rule allows religious

>> an emotional week for the george huguely trial. his testimony continues. we are getting a graphic look inside a troubled relationship. >> george huguely's videotaped statement to police sparked a motion and tears from the accused killer and yeardley love's family. on the witness stand, the detective recounted the events of may 3, 2010, shortly after love fun. she said george huguely had been drinking and sounded groggy as he described the turbulence with love. according to george huguely, the two had recently learned the other had been unfaithful and he went to her apartment to talk things over. he said love got defensive when he entered her bedroom. he said, i was like to load and ship for a little. she started freaking out. she started hitting her head against the wall.
